after 4 days stims, today 5 th day morning went for u/s and b/w waiting for call from nurse regarding b/w, but U/S shows atleast 8 follicles on right b/w 12-15mm and around 7 on left b/w 12-15 mm and one around 16mm.......i started to have tight, full feeling..........just waiting for b/w results will keep u all updated

nurse called me: i got a call from my nurse my e2 level is around 1570, that sounds too high to me for 5 days stims.........re told to bring my dose of gonal f to 75 iu and menopur 75 iu.........nurse told i am really doing good....but my e2 level rise scares me , scared of OHSS............any opinions.................

Hi PGFL - that's funny! yeah she was looking for me but i was in the back on one of those big chairs. I go there for my blood work with Terry and she told me to wait there but I guess forgot to tell the ultrasound lady!
So maybe we saw eachother! I was sitting on that little purple sofa, I'm quite tall wearing jeans with my hair up. I look around wondering if I can recognize you somehow. I was tempted to speak and say 'is PG_FL here?' but I wasn't sure if you had an appointment this morning.

sspp - our follie size has been very similar even though I'm 2 days ahead of you, I'm looking at my chart and comparing our days (our day 5's are close). But my estrogen level is SO MUCH LOWER than yours. My day 5 was 457. Yours is 1570. Do you think mine is too low? Maybe I have all these great sized follies and they all SUCK and none will be mature?! Oh no!!!

Did your nurse say anything specifically about OHSS to you???

I don't remember if I saw you or not. I think someone was sitting on the sofa, but I didn't want to stare. And from where I was sitting I would have had to lean forward and look around the corner. A bit obvious, eh? But after u/s I sat on the other side, so I would have had a clear view. Again, I try not to make it obvious when I check out everyone else. Although I was tempted to do the same thing... "1day? Are you here???" Other people would think we're sooooo strange. I was wearing a green tshirt that says "BON VOYAGE" and a pair of cargo shorts ... WITH AN ELASTIC WAIST! Pathetic, I know. I'll probably wear them again tomorrow when I go in. <shrug>

I went in with 2 of the needle boxes - full. They wouldn't take them. HELLO?! She said I had to contact the Health Department and PAY to dispose of them. Come on...............

When's your next visit? I'm CODE MANKO tomorrow morning 8:30am.

pg florida: nurse did not mention anything on ohss , but from what i have heard high e2 tend for ohss i am sacred, i asked her, is my e2 level high , she said no its perfectly fine since it co-related to follicles.......and told me reduced dose will take care ......and they told me they will decide what to do after my next appont on 08/14......i am happy follicle doing good, but sacred of high e2.......

ur follicles are also doing great....ur e2 levels is low compared to mine for day 5 what is ur E2 for day 7......hope it will be great..........i am not sure if my level is too much or ur level is low.......really confused ...............i guess ur doing fine honey ................any opinions on e2 levls from other members will be helpfull

last cycle i went into the dollar store and asked the clerk how many tests they had she told me 12 so I asked her for all of them. She looked at me like I was crazy. I then went in to get tampons at a later date and she looked at me and said I was going to ask but I guess I know the answer. LOL It is kinda funny when you have the clerks at the store wondering.

I was on 225 FSH, but I seem to have been on lower doses of meds than most I have talked to.

PGFL....no I don't think I saw you....maybe in the corridor, were you wearing sneaker / merrel type shoes? Isn't it ridiculous that they don't take back the sharps?

Pg-Florida-My re is one of the closest to my city. She is ranked 2nd in the state so it is worth it. You eggs look great!

Afm-TMI??? I am wondering if I got . I have been spotting since last Tues. bc of the biopsy and today is bright red. It has been brown. Do you think this is ? I stopped bcp on Monday. I hope.

1Day and PGFL- I think it's funny that you are both going to the same place...and don't know if you have seen each other! Isn't it odd that nobody seems to want to chat in those waiting rooms? Gosh, I hate sitting there with a magazine...reading away with others. I'd rather chat with folks, and find out how they are doing. I mean...we all are there for the same reason, aren't we? My clinic said that they will take the sharps container for me. However, they did say that the sharps container can be put in the trash, as the container is specifically designed to keep them safe. I'm in Illinois, so I don't know the FL law...but I'd check into it.

Good to see all those folks that are stimming with great follie growth. I'm a bit older than most here, I'm on day 7 of stims, and have 3 on the left, and 3 on the right.

Just waiting for the RE to call with the bw results. The morning RE said that everything looks good so far for me. The follicles are all about the same size, which is good...she said.

So, just sitting around, stimming away. Getting those twinges in my abdomin area...so I'm feeling like those ovaries are trying hard to produce.

Uggg, you noticed my shoes! As I was walking out the door I was thinking, "these shoes are terrible to wear like this, but who's going to notice them?!" So much for that! They are sort of sneakers, sort of not, no laces, funky zig-zags. I even kept them on during my u/s because they're too annoying to get on again. Doh! Anyhoo... I'm guilty as charged! You can't miss me, I'm 6ft tall!!! Say HI next time! LOL

My e2 came back: 1055. I'm to continue on the same doses, and I don't go back until Friday (1day, I'll be there at 10:20am -- I guess they called you first because that was the earliest apt she had!).

AGH, DH is trying to make dinner. Better go.....!

Hey all-
Back from the ER. I was in so much pain for awhile- the meds have finally kicked in and I took two perceset! (mangled that spelling). So I am walking like an old lady! But Christeena you were right- that bloated feeling is GONE!

I am a bit diapointed - they got 15 eggs but only 8 were mature. But I guess I will know more tomorrow. The doc said I should not be down about it- that we didn't break any records but I should be happy with it so far.

Then of course you hear the - not quantity but quality.

I am starving and the hubs went to get me some chipotle. I am sooo craving a burrito bowl!

And please add my husband to the ER goofball club. I was changing into my gown and I came out of the bathroom and he had my bed raised as high as it could go. Then when we were chatting with the 'sandman' drug doctor he kept lowering one side, then the other, putting up the bars- all while I was on it. The docs thought he was a riot.

So now we wait- hoping for the 5 day transfer but they told me to be on standby for a 3 day- or to not make any plans for Saturday.

I got my pack of preggo test strips- guess I will start using them tomorrow or the day after to see when the trigger is gone.

Onward we go!
