wewant: I am so sorry for your BFN. I'll know 100% on Wednesday when I have my BETA. But if things go the way I feel right now it's going to be a BFN for me too. If it is we are going to insist on some more extensive testing before we use my snow babies. If it is shown that I just can't conceive...then we will go to my BF and have that "can I borrow your oven for 9 months" talk with her and her hubby.
GOOD LUCK to everyone else. I have to go bake cupcakes now.

Wewantababy-So sorry for your
. It just sucks. You do have snowbabies, right? Winnie-Please don't get down. Easier said than done. Tracy-Hang in there. Hopefully the coasting will help. Newbie-Wow 8 eggs!! Can't wait to see how many fert. Pg-I am glad that er went well. Yahoo for 12 eggs! Sspp-Good luck tomorrow! Afm-Still feel pretty crappy! I am very achy. Last night the Gonal F was not bad at all. The Lupron hurt really bad. I yelled at dh, and then apologized. I have been drinking water all day. I go for bw/us on Tues. That will be 3 days of stims. Will I have follicles yet? Who else is on about the same day of stims?

MPisready - sounds like you're making great progress! The mood swings definitely mean the meds are working (at least that's how I always have justified them!!!). Did you ask the dr about peeing? I am finding that I have a lot of pressure in my ovary area when I pee, which makes it uncomfortable. Towards the end of stims I felt I couldn't pee that hard, but I could definitely pee.
rzloudek - glad your trigger wasn't so bad. Oooh, a midnight post-party trigger shot in a public bathroom. How romantic! Newbie - 8 out of 9 is pretty impressive! I my #s are as strong as yours!!!Nlp - oops, I had you down starting stims today. When do you expect AF??? WeWantaBaby - I'm so sorry. to you. sspp - Don't be nervous. You'll be in good hands with your RE. The worst part is the anticipation. And be sure to have plenty of relax for the rest of the day tomorrow. BabySasha - oops, I see your ER is scheduled for 8/18... not today. Hope1234 - Glad you're doing well with stims so far. I never bothered with any small air bubbles... <shrug> some I just couldn't get rid of! MrsJB - WOW sounds like your little embies are awesome!!! GL for tomorrow!!!!! smiley - you're so funny. I'm definitely taking it easy and actually enjoying the sofa!!! RNINLA - I added you to the list! Jacqueline - You rock for not letting Dr NoBedsideManner get on your nerves. Good for you! TracyB - you're doing well! Don't worry about it until you have something to worry about. In the meantime, just do what you're told and keep hydrated. Christeena - I moved your ER again LOL. I'm sure you're tired of the stims, poor thing! But if that's what it takes for you to get the job done, well then that's what you'll do. Right?! WinniePoo - Hang in there - I know it's so much easier said than done.... Linz25 - you'll definitely have some follies to check out on Tuesday. We'll be eager to hear your report! 1day - how was Code Manko this morning? Manko was in chipper spirits this morning (as usual), and everyone was soooo nice. I really like the new lady, Pam, (not just b/c we have the same name) she's really calm and soft-talking. AFM, still feeling well after ER this morning. I got into bed and had DH put in a movie. I told him something light and funny (thinking along the lines of Legally Blond) and he came up with Young Frankenstein. Not what I had in mind, but always a funny one! I had soup and 1/2 a sandwhich (plus 2 Tylenol, just in case!)... so I'm A-OK! Question - I'm dreading the Progesterone In Oil (PIO) shots more than anything... anyone have tips? Anyone trying to give them to herself? I'm going to study youtube to try to figure out if it's possible to do it myself. DH tried to practice on the spongy thing at the dr's office. Let's just say he never stuck it in hard enough to get it all the way on the first try. After about 20 "stabs" (if you can call them that) I firmly decided he is NOT coming anywhere near me with a needle. WeWantaBaby,
I am so sorry for your negative. You are DH are in my thoughts and prayers.WinniePoo, for you and DH. I browsed through the IVF success pages and found a couple people that had POAS negatives all the way up to the beta. I may be a little niave but I would not lose hope before the Beta. Who knows you could be suprised.Newbie, Great Fert Report, Divide Divide PG Florida, So happy that your ER went so well. I would have been the person wheeled out moaning! OMGoodness. RNINLA, MPisReady, I had trouble peeing after the ER but not before. Sounds like you may be retaining water? You may want to call your RE. Jacqueline, Yuck! That was great you did not let Dr. No Bedside Manner ruin your day! Hope your RE finds lots of follies and that you are a go for this cycle!AFM, I have fibroids in the lining of my uterus and my stomach is very swollen like it never really went down from the ER. I haven't really gained any weight but I now have a rubber band holding the button on my jeans! Anyone else in the 2ww or with fibroids having this bloating problem? babydust to all

WeWantABaby – so so sorry about the BFN. Hugs to you!
You are in my prayers.PG Florida – I’m glad your ER went so smoothly. That’s awesome! You had me LOL about your DH and the needle and the PIO shot. I’ve had two thus far and they havne’t been nearly as bad as I thought they would be. My DH – who it NOT good with needes – actually stepped up and did a great job. (I’m guessing the emla cream didn’t hurt either.) I actually had a hard time getting the oil in the syringe, though. I know I wasted some of the medicine trying to push out the huge air bubbles. Hopefully, I’ll do better tonight. MrsJB – awesome about your embryos! You did great! GL tomorrow with ET! You are on your way to being PUPO!!!! RNINLA – Jacquline – Dr. No Bedside Manner sounds like a jerk. You have the right attitude. Don’t let him steal your joy! I hope you get to see YOUR doctor soon. Good deal about your E2 level!!! TracyB – Praying that things work out for you…. Christeena – hang in there – these extra days of stimming will ensure you have plenty of good eggies! WinniePoo – hang in there. From what I’ve read, even though your hpt’s don’t look good – your beta can still be a good one. We are all praying for you! Linz25 – Sorry you feel crappy! I hope things get better soon! On my first appt after I started stims, they just looked at my blood work and gave me my E2 level. They didn’t give me detailed follicle information until after 5 days of stims. Stinkycat – good luck with your beta tomorrow! Can't wait to hear your good news! AFM – I’m basically addicted to this forum now. There is so much activity. I need to go back and read the posts about ET. That will be my next hurdle – day 5 transfer on the 20th. In general, is the ET easier than the ER? I know I’ve read that the full bladder thing is kinda hard. Any other bits of advice for ET? Good luck to all the ladies going in to ER and ET in the upcoming days! and

my guess is that it has somehting to do with your ovaries being swollen from the stims.

There is a great video on youtube that taught me how to do it myself. I use the 22 gauge and it really is no problem. I ice if with an ice pack for about 5 minutes, smack the spot and do it. It's one of the first videos if you look up PIO Shots.
The woman got me all pumped up because she didn't flinch. The ONLY uncomfortable part is when the needle goes in. ![]()

Youngtucker - I think you have cramps from not pooping, not necessarily from the stool softeners. ?? That's my guess. I was really worried too this morning b/c I hadn't pooped in at least 4 days. I know, I know... T. M. I. But... I eeked out a little bit this morning before ER. If it gets really bad maybe ask your dr or use a saline enima. I had to use a couple after surgery in Nov. They certainly do the job. Yucky, but what can you do?! Or, as DH says, have some greesy food. LOL

PG -- YESS! You can do PIO yourself. I did mine last time. the needle is a bit bigger, but don't be intimidated. definitely ice it a little before. Spread the skin and make it TAUT. You don't have to be an acrobat, honest!
