My RE told me that morphology problems can be to blame for recurrent losses. They haven't found any fertility problems on my end, knock on wood, so I pray that this cycle will do it for us.

Tanter and TTC--I'm at Shady Grove too! Hope we all add to the success rate! Isn't it wierd to think we could have been sitting across the waiting room from each other (and other "cyber" friends).

I went over my proposed protocol with my nurse this morning. I will be starting BCP with start of next cycle and my ER still looks like the 28th (as far as we can guestimate). I am going to call pharmacy tomorrow and see if I can get an estimate for the drugs (I have some insurance coverage-but still need to know the damage). But for now my job is to plan a little vacation!! DH would love to be around me without all the meds to make me crazy-there is plenty of time for that later!

I kind of wondered that. The SHG involves a catheter and some water. Basically an IUI with some menstrual cramps. I have kick @ss cramps and painful IUIs so it wasn't a lot of fun for me but most ladies don't mind.

Yes, a lap should show any uterine abnormalities. But it is routine procedure with many RE's to do an SHG and/or hysteroscopy if the lap hasn't been within 12 months.

WinniePoo - I agree about not wanting to tell too many people this time around. I only tell my mom and SIL, and it's so hard to tell the BFN. I want to keep IVF very private, but I'm afraid they're both so curious that it will be hard.

It will be hard, but I have enough people that I can talk to that aren't my family that I think I will be able to avoid telling my mother. It isn't that I mind people in general knowing that I am doing IVF again. It's my family. They were the hard ones to tell about a BFN. I'm waiting on my RE to call me back and tell me when to start BCP and have baseline stuff done. Have a PAP on June 30th (just my annual, but way scared it will come back abnormal...only cause mother nature tends to be mean that way) If all goes as planned and we get our BFP we will be able to tell everyone on DHs birthday in September...by that time we will have had an u/s.

SMILEY, Ahh, the ultimate question of questions.. HOW MANY EMBRYOS TO TRANSFER?? I think it all depends on quality of embryos and age of the Mother. My poor little embryos didn't even make it to transfer. If they make it this time ( ) I will transfer THREE! (im 40) GL making your decision, its a toughie!

This is so helpful, all color-coordinated and whatnot! You go girl! I can't wait until I can start filling some of it in! Unfortunately, I have to wait for AF to show up next month before I can start taking BCPs, so it will be a while before I have something to contribute.

As for AF...nuttin'. I was meant to go in for a blood test yesterday but got busy. I was also hoping she would show up on her own today. But so far nada.....
