Smile 2nd Beta

Alyson – How wonderful! So glad your ultrasound went well! Congrats!

MomSomeday – Congrats on a good 3rd beta!

Smiley – you aren’t the first and you won’t be the last with the HPT addiction! Here’s hoping for BFP‘s!

MsGibson – Good luck on your upcoming beta. I’m sure you will get your official BFP!

PG – I like your DH strategy of saying “it’s what the babies want”. I do that too! Works like a charm! LOL!

Maarisa – I’ve been to Thousand Oaks for work. It’s a beautiful place – especially to a Midwestern girl like me! Hey – can’t wait to hear about your beta results!

AFM - I had my second beta today. It went from 1,222 on Saturday to 2,842 today (19dp5dt). I thought those numbers were pretty normal for a singleton and then my nurse says, “I’d bet anything you’ve got twins in there!” That is shocking to me – especially based on that beta website. What do you think? I guess I'll find out soon enough. My ultrasound is a week from today on 9/15! So exciting!!!

Also, my nurse told me my progesterone levels are really good - so I may be able to stop the PIO shots after the ultrasound. That would be when I'm about 7 weeks along. Seems early. How long are you girls staying on PIO shots?

I guess I need to just quit questioning everything! They must know what they are doing. I did get my afterall!!!

Maarisa- YEAH Beta!! so excited for you

Just for fun I wanted to share something I just read. Well like I said I bought some more hpts and decided to read the instructions - like I don't know how to use them -LOL- plus my professional background is in the lab- anyway the directions said if you get a neg and think you might be to wait 3 days and test again! WHAT??? They think we are going to wait 3 whole days to test again-HAHAHAHAHA Well maybe if we were normal but I know I'm not. Thats why I bought the 3 pack of tests to use after I finish the 2 pack I have. Guess they are not familiar with the addicts?! Sorry guys but I found it so funny and you are the only ones who would understand and not think I have completely lost my mind.

Heres to I get my BFP very very soon.

Hi All,

Just wanted to update everyone on my beta this morning. I'm a . I'm retesting tomorrow though for my own peace of mind because I may still be early (10dp3dt) according to me. The case manager was ok with me testing again tomorrow eventhough she wasn't that convinced it was early. Oh well. I wrote a bit more in the "IVF week of Aug 24th" thread, but just wanted to thank everyone for the inspiration and support. We will definitely try again.

I wish everyone the best!

Maarisa- Congrats!!! WOW maybe triplets?

My sis in law was over today with her twins, 15 mo old boy and girl. You all with multiples coming soon, you will be so blessed, but will have your hands full.

Hope- So sorry, I know what the BFN feels likes, over and over again. Keep your head high.

MPisready- Hope your day got better- I was kinda laughing at your message about lunch and the gym issues. I worked at a school for a yr and know it is kinda crazy at times. I admire any teachers for sure.

Smiley- You are cracking me up with your hpt obsession. I am not brave enough to do another one until day before my beta.

Anyway, I have to go back to work tom and not loking forward to it. Everyone kust keeps asking, " Are you pregnant yet? Like it happens in a day. I sometimes wish I hadn't said anything about goin thru IVF but seems hard to make up weird reasons to be off work at random days over the last 3 weeks.

And my face is breaking out awful, guess the dumb PIO. Didn't seem that bad last cycle, feel like I am 15 again. Anyone else having same issues? I am on estrogen inserts this time, which they didn't do last cycle, so maybe that not helping. OHH- the hormones.

And my PIO shot hurt really bad today, ice just made it worse too. I must have given it over a already bruised spot. Good thing about work tom, one of the other nurses can give it.

Jana

Yes, I am having some sharp pains where my ovaries are. The RE didn't seem worried today at the ultrasound and said they are swollen and will go down around 12 weeks preg. And my BBs are hurting and tight too especially when I get up in the morning. And I am having heartburn too!

Linz25 - YES! The idea of multiples scare me a bit. Especially financially! But going in, we knew this was a possibility. Plus, I am a big believer that God won't give us more than we can handle so I know whatever happens, we will be blessed.

Also, yes, my boobs hurt so badly. Poor DH. No fun for him! LOL! Its especially painful in the mornings when I first get out of bed. I guess I forget and move too fast or something. Its crazy because I'm not a big girl and I've wanted to be a little more endowed. Now, I'm reconsidering!!
