BETA went up to 231 and progesterone went up to 25.6 (they want it above 25 for natural)

It almost TRIPLED!!!!!!!!!

i go back monday for a progesterone check (since the BETA number jumped so high they won't check that again) and then my first u/s is on Monday 10/12...we'll find out how many are in there and a due date around that time!!!!

I'm floored...I can hardly breath i'm so excited...my hands are shaking too...oh yeah and my boobs have gotten progressively more sore during the day today.

I went to my local dr today and beta went down to 40. What a relief, was getting concerned. I know most of us want betas to rise, kinda weird to not want it to. Did an ultrasound and saw an empty sac in uterus, so more than likely not ectopic and will recheck it all Monday. Thanks for your thoughts.

Winnie - COngrats!!!! wow, what a truly miracle baby..im so happy for you... so overwhelming too, the support that you get from this group...OMG, I love you all...

afm,had my 1st u/s last monday 9/28. OMG, its the most amazing experience we had. We did see our baby(yes,singleton) and was able to see and hear his/her heartbeat,167!!! Our hearts skip when we saw and heared it, most wonderful thing. Our Re said that by hearing the HB our chance on miscarriage dropped to 5%, hope he is right, but Im still very cautious.
Next u/s will be on 9th week that is 10/12, that everything is still doing great.
Any of you guys from Temecula-Murrieta,Ca area? Any suggestions or recommendation for a great Ob will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and and to all!!!

Oh forgot to add funny story of the day My best friend had appt right after me at my Dr, she is 9 mo preg with 3rd daughter. (Some just have it easy when it comes to fertility) Well My appt was over, so I decided to wait for her. Her BP was high so her dr decided to make her go to ED triage to do lab and monitor. So I stayed with her the 4 hrs until she went home( Her DH at home with her kids and she was not in labor) While we were in those little curtain like rooms- this lady next to us was just talking non - stop about some minor growing pain she was having with her pregnancy(like her 4th one)- had several kids and a ruptured ectopic in past- I heard it all. She was just a few months a long- and to put in nicely- not so clean or with the program. The APN asked her when her LMP was and she proceeded to say- Oh I know exactly when I conceived- it was some date?? and at 4 am. NICE. WHo really cares what time? We were laughing so hard trying not to be heard.

I'm in Temecula, CA. I see Dr Yang at Temecula OBGYN. he is very smart and makes you feel comfortable. he is very excited about his job and always goes that extra mile, like typing Hi Mommy and Daddy on your ultrasounds! He also understands IVF and the drugs, etc.

Nlp-Glad that you are feeling better. My us is at 8:30, but I will not bea able to post until I get back around 3. My re is 2 1/2 hours away.

Zozo-I am so glad that your us went well. That is so awesome that you were able to hear the hb. I hope that we can too.

Afm-My first us is tomorrow. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. that everything is okay. I do not know why I am so worried.

ok so i'm going to be a nervous wreck until the ultrasound. my RE won't do another BETA cause the first 2 looked so good, but I really want to see 1 more rise so I feel safer. do you think it is ok if i go see my regular ob and have her run 1 more beta without telling re or is that a big no no???

also waiting on call from re about flu and h1n1 vaccines. i am at a higher risk for those because of my asthma so i'm supposed to get them, but now i'm not sure because of being pregnant...so i'm asking re what he thinks and then trying to get into fp to get them asap if i am supposed to.

i just can't grasp what is happening right now. i don't even know if the ticker i added to my signature is correct cause i don't know when i ovulated! this is all so scary and exciting given the circumstances AHHHH

Winnie- If it would ease your mind, I am sure your local OB would let you do another beta. I had some extra ones done, during my m/c, at my local dr even earlier than my RE recommended. It sure doesn't hurt to ask.

Winnie- It doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about with the amount your level increased. Most women on this board only had two betas with good levels. I had 5 but that was only because my 2nd level was not doubling appropriately. I am sure your OB would run one for you though if it would ease your mind.

Linz- I can hardly wait until you post your u/s results!!!!
