Well, I just called my ob office and they are out until tom. So I called my pcp and they looked up my beta hcg and it was 147 . That was drawn last Fri, so it keeps rising. My progesterone was 38. What do they want it to be this early? I am just 4 weeks pregnant.

I have been having a lot of menstral like cramps and cramping in my back and in my hips- this part makes me nervous bc had that with my m/c last time, but maybe it is just stretching from hormones?? I def have more preg symptoms than last time already.

Wow- this is just too much to take in. This is a good sign for all of us who struggle to get pregnant with IVF, that there is hope you may still be able to get pregnant on own, whether my preg con't or not.

YAYAYAYAYAYAAAAAYYYYYY JMOM!!!!! Im so excited for you, I cried reading your post... You deserve this... 147 is great... If you remember my beta was only 66 at 5 weeks... Thats awesome... Im praying everything keeps going smooth... Dont worry about the cramps, each time Ive been pregnant I always had bad cramps and I have a 3 year old and Im 28 weeks with my 2nd...

Woo Hoo!!!! That is a great beta for 4 weeks! Mine was only 79 at that point and now I am almost 10 weeks. My RE said they like progesterone to be over 25 (and I believe that is with the PIO shot) so 38 is wonderful! Sounds very promising!!!! When do you go in for 2nd beta? I am just so excited for you! Oh, and the cramping....I have had mild cramping off and on since the beginning and so far so good. A lot of women have cramping in early pregnancy. It can be completely normal, so try not to worry. I am so happy to have heard some fabulous news today!

Thank you so much for you kind words. Not sure when 2nd beta bc my ob was out today and I had to get results from my nurse practioner- diff office who I saw for weight loss last week, so OB not really her scope. I should hear tom from ob and get plan. I went to see ANP bc I wanted to lose 10 lbs from xtra weight IVF causes. She ordered some meds for me-Metformin and Phentermine, and I was just making sure before I started them that I was not preg. Just to be on safe side- well much to my surpise . I thought I had period last week bc I had several days of spotting so thought no way I was. Well I am so happy now.

Question for you ladies.....at what point did you notice your waistline increasing? I feel like I am a bit "rounder" and am only 9.5 weeks....seems way too early for that.

Also, I have already edited this post 3 times because I am having a tough time SPELLING!!!! Is that a symptom Just kidding.

I didn't really have morning sickness, just yukky feeling all day it stopped around 10 weeks, and then when I was exactly 12 weeks I threw up that morning!!!

Roundness for me started at about 8 weeks, although I wonder if that was just some type of period due time bloating... although now I definitely can tell. I am 13 weeks! I love how it feels!!

My progesterone has always hovered around 18, then the 11th week it jumped to 36 and the 12th week back to 27. My Ob says in the first 12 weeks anything above 12 is good... higher great!!! Sounds like you're on the right track.

I also had cramps... and still do. Again Ob advice - she'd be more concerned if I didn't have them!!!

I did research early back pain in preg, and saw a lot of info as it being normal around 5 weeks up to 10 weeks and even radiating to thighs and legs. That is what mine does, esp right hip and thigh. Weird. I never had any of that with my DS, but that was 6 yrs ago and I was younger and in better shape too. ha

I'm doing pretty good... had to buy a belly band today!

I get a sharp pain down my right side, that feels like someone is stabbing me, it's even worse when I move quickly, ob says it's normal, and just my body growing!!!!

hey congrats jana! thats awesome to just by chance take a hpt and it be BFP!

so i went to see another re and they gave me diff protocol and im really excited bout going. im waiting for AF! i was due for it oct 19. still havnt gotten it. shld i call or still wait another week. i was 2wks late last time i was goin to start another ivf cycle.

I have not worked out in a few months now. I did not after ET last time until I knew how things were going, then I didn't w low betas, then felt bad during m/c and I was just about to start back and went to dr and trying to lose 10 lbs before another ivf try. SO guess I won't be losing any weight for a while. And I have appt with Dr. Bundren next week-actually on my 37 bday- I need to cancel. I will gladly keep 10 xtra lbs for now- and stay pregnant.. My BMI is normal range- just heavier than I have ever been.
And now I will prob be too nervous until u/s to exercise.
Are you still teaching classes? How many weeks are you now? Who is your OB? I see parkhill- Dr. Seale delivered my son and been my dr since.

And I had another beta toda, but they did not call me w results. NICE.. It was done STAT at 11 today. Maybe no news is good news.

Keep those 10 pounds...we'll shed them together next summer!!! Cara will take care of that =)

I am back to teaching...just spin twice a week and boot camp. It feels so good to be moving again!

I see Dr. Smith at Pinnacle Women's Group. Let me know those results as soon as you hear from them. You are in my prayers!
