Me- 36 (all tests normal) DH- 37 (low everything) 2004- conceived naturally with in 1 month of TTC, have a darling 5 y/o son TTC- for 3 yrs Jan 2008- first appt with RE, rec. IVF only started dh on HGC shots to increase sperm count Oct 08-#1 IVF 5 eggs retrieved, only 3 good, no fert w/ ICSI Nov 08-CCT- normal We denied DNA Frag test for DH Feb 09-#2 IVF 4 eggs, 2 fert  Transfered 1 embryo on day 3, other one 50% frag .   #3 IVF- Aug 09 8-28-04- 4 eggs retrieved, only one fert 8-31-09- ET one 6 cell embryo without frag 7dp3dt- neg HPT 11dp3dt- very very faint pos hpt 12dp3dt- very faint pos, but line darker 9-14-09 1st Beta- 36.7 9-17-09- 2nd Beta- 54 9-21-09- 3rd Beta -68, up tp 129 then 0 in a week, not doubling enough  11-2- appt w new RE 10-23-09 on HPT natural cycle. OH MY, What a surprise. 10-23-09 beta 147, prog 38 10-27-beta 1206  11-12-u/s. saw heartbeat

WeWantABaby and Rose - soooo happy for you! Congrats! Praying for great betas and healthy babies!!!!
Nlp - My u/s tech said the same thing at 12 weeks - she is pretty sure its a boy. I couldn't tell, but I'm taking her word for it! We will get confirmation at my next ultrasound which will be December 10th. Can't wait!!!! So exciting!! AFM - just got the results for my NT scan and all looks pretty good! So thankful for that!

Me - 38 Him - 35 - 2 fur babies 7/5 - Lupron 7/17 - B/W and U/S appt (Everything looks good!) 8/3 - Menopur, Bravelle, Antibiotics 8/13 - TRIGGER!!! 8/15 - ER and PGD - 9 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized! 8/20 - ET (5dt - 2 blasts) 8/29 - (9dp5dt) HPT = 9/5 - (16dp5dt) 1st Beta: 1,222 9/8 - (19dp5dt) 2nd Beta: 2,842 9/15 - 1st Ultrasound (at 6 weeks and 3 days) -  Detected a heartbeat!!!9/22 - 2nd Ultrasound (at 7 weeks and 3 days) - Baby is growing and we detected a heartbeat of 167! 10/22 - 3rd Ultrasound (at 11 weeks and 5 days) - All is well and the baby is REALLY active! The nurse thinks its a BOY!!!!

Thank God for little boys- they are so precious. Mine is 5 now and he is so loving, he always tells me he will always take care of me. I cannot wait to tell him he will be a big bro, will after my first u/s on nov 12. Jana

 is finally here. The cramping is awful. It is so intense. Can't wait until this is over.

Newbie- Glad your NT scan looked good! I have mine next friday, so hopefully things will be great with mine too. Rose- Congrats! Great news. Linz- I am glad that AF decided to show up finally. Sorry the cramps are bad. I remember with my first, the cramps were terrible and the bleeding was severe and lasted forever! I felt like I couldn't even go anywhere. I hope yours goes quickly so you can start to heal. Praying for you. AFM, I have my first OB appointment tomorrow since graduating from RE. Did you all have an ultrasound done at your first OB appointment? They told me they might do one, but might not. I don't like that answer. I want to see the baby!

Congrats to all the great news!!!!
Linz - am please that the dreaded showed up... but sorry that you have to suffer through all of this. I am thinking of you.Nlp - I didn't get an u/s when I 1st graduated to OB, but they are all different. My news - So far I have been able to sleep on my stomach, but last night was driving me crazy I couldn't get comfortable no matter how I tried... Then this morning I woke up and my stomach is HUGE!!! I mean HUGE!! It's like it grew out of no where overnight! So cool n crazy all at once. I continue to listen to the heart beat with the monitor we bought, and I am sure I felt the baby move this evening!!! Exciting times !!!

08-25-2008 - ruptured ectopic right tube - removed. 10-03-2008 - ectopic left tube - methotrexate twice. April 2009 - removal of left tube - tubeless I am! June 2008 1st IVF cycle - embryo didn't grow past 5 cells. August 2009 2nd IVF cycle 08-13-2009 Tranferred 1 8 cell perfect embryo! 08-25-2009 - 1st beta 462 (1st anniversary of reptured tube 1st baby )08-27-09 - 2nd beta 1070 08-29-09 - 3rd beta 2987 09-03-09 - u/s!!!!!! We are doing natural cycle IVF which involves minimal drugs and retrieval of the one egg your body naturally produces each month, and is MUCH cheaper than traditional IVF. I am taking 2 estrace and 2 progestrogen suppositories(sp?) each day and 1 baby asprin. Diagnosed with anti-m antibody - monitoring baby will be close throughout whole pregnancy. U/S's weekly from 18 weeks. 11-18-2009 - we're having a boy!!! EDD May 1/2 2010!

Sloulamp- Isn't it great to start seeing your belly!? I just love it! I noticed mine about a week ago or so. I thought it was too early, but apparently, it's not. I just can't wait until I am 8 months about to pop!
AFM, I had my first OB appointment today. They say everything looks fine. They did a realy quick ultrasound and baby was moving around again! They have still not measured the heartbeat and they say they don't do that. I thought it was strange. He said he thought it was about 140 BPM or so and that it was perfectly fine. I also found out that with my arcuate uterus, I have a high chance of having a breach baby, which means I will probably need a cesarian.....I am scared for that!

Newbie - a little boy....YAY!!!!!!! i hope our baby is that cooperative and gives us a sneak peak!!! AFM: The dr finally called with my results from MONDAY's test....i'm telling you the OB is a totally different experience than RE....9300 at 4w5d (he just wanted to see it jump from 1551 to 6000 ) so i just breathed a little sigh of relief but i'm sure that within the next couple of days (or hours!!!) i'll be anxious again and just counting down for the u/s on 11/16....LOL

Great News everyone!!!
So on Monday night I woke up about 2am with the most intense cramps. It felt like a charlie horse in my stomach. I was doubled over on the floor. The bleeding was a lot. I almost ended up in the er because the pain was so bad. We called my doc at 3am and they sent me Tylenol with Codeine. Finally about 5am I was able to bear it. My doc said since I went so long waiting for af that it was normal to be this bad. I do think that the bad part is finally over. I just keep reminding myself that "This too will pass."
