Ive done a mock transfer before. it was pretty easy..was like a pap for me. I never had to have a full bladder except for my actual transfer and then it was just a comfortably full bladder.

Im having mine on Wed. GL on yours!

i didnt have to do the mock transfer with a full bladder either. but i can tell you when i did do the transfer for ivf they let you empty ur bladder a bit if its too full for them to do it. just relax and you will do great!! good luck!

On a personal note. Sometimes people trying to be sweet just need to think about what they are about to say before letting the words spill out of their mouths. 4th of July weekend we went to a family reunion for DHs family. I love them all, they are a great bunch of people. And most of them are genuinely rooting for us and ask if there is any news and that they are still praying for us whether it be pregnancy or adoption. Those comments mean a lot to me and make me feel better. DHs cousins wife trying to be sweet said 2 of THE STUPIDEST things on Saturday. #1 while holding her 8month old daughter (her 22 month old wandering around her feet) said "I know what you are going through it took us 6 whole months to get pregnant with Ryleigh(her 22 month old), we just kept trying and it wasn't working. We stopped counting days and she just happeneded!" and #2 "Enjoy this time you are having without kids cause once you have them you'll wish you could give them away sometimes. You never have any time to yourselves anymore" SERIOUSLY!!!! I want the chaos, I want the poopy diapers, the puke the sleepless nights. UGH! Some people really just don't think before they speak. I smiled and nodded cause I know it was just her way of trying to make me feel better about the situation, but GEEZ! Ok I'm done ranting now. Just had to vent a little.
I totally understand you. People especially the ones who has kid sometimes has no idea what we are going through. I became people hater lately especially the ones who is pregnant. I know this doesn't sound normal but my psychologist
said it is very normal.
Keep up your spirit, there is nothing else we can do.

cat litter box

As we all know cleaning cat litterbox during pregnancy is bad. So my question is, how about the time that between ovulation and two weeks after ovulation(until you find out if you are pregnant or not)? Are we suppose to stop cleaning litter box until we find out if it is BFP?

Is your cat indoor or outdoor? If your cat always indoor, should be fine to touch litterbox.

Hi ladies! I was wondering if I could join your group? We are probably going to do our next cycle in August. I am very nervous for many reasons. I just switched doctors and they are using a differant protocol that my last dr. I am worried that it won't work.

Also, they are not having me take bcp, we are just relying on my regular cycle. Are there pros and cons to this? Is anyone doing a cycle and skipping the bcp?

Interestingly enough, my trial transfer is next Thursday and my RE told me that she's going to have me empty my bladder so I don't need to drink a lot. Sounds like everyone else tries to figure out how full to make their bladder.

I wouldn't chug because that's just going to leave your stomach hurting, but start drinking 2 or even 3 hours before. What I was told was to accept the bed pan (on the ET) no matter what =)

Best of luck. I want to hear how the trial goes, how long it takes, and how it feels!

Exclamation Postponed until September :(

Hey ladies,

I just wanted to stop in and give an update that my cycle has been postponed until September I have been included in a clinical trial and will be receiving the whole cycle for free and I guess the lab for U.C. Irvine (conducting the study) will be closed in August. We could still move forward but would have to pay for everything ourselves. Makes more sense to wait one more month. So I will still do my hsg on friday and stay on this dreaded bcp for 1 more month. I havent been on bcp since I was 17 and let me tell you I am going crazy!! Headaches, Cramps, Nausea you name it I have it. Ive even lost my appetite which might be a good thing So of course I am frustrated and impatient but am blessed to be recieving another chance at IVF. Ive been so busy working overtime as a waitress to save money and have been stopping in but havent had a chance to "chime in" LOL.. I hope I can still post here and will be cheering you all on !! I might start a September thread even though its a little early. Positive thoughts and hoping everyone gets there 2010 april or may baby.. or babies!!
Chrissie

Im trying to drop 5lbs to get to my ideal body weight which is supposed to help if you have PCO. Im also taking Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen in raw honey for egg quality, maca, prenatals and extra folic acid.
drinking lots of water and exercising.

I also plan on starting accupuncture in the next couple of weeks. It makes me feel very relaxed, I love it!

GreenMammatoBE I am going to be very close to you on the schedule. I got my period today too and started on the birth control pills- Lupron should start on the 23. The estimated transfer will be the 13.

This will be our first try at IVF so I don't really know what I am doing. We have been trying for well over 4 years. We have done 4 cycles of clomid, and 7 of injections along with IUIs or timed intercourse. We have been on a break of meds for about a year as we were on a waiting list to do the IVF with our military insurance.

I started acupunture about three weeks ago and love it --and they put me on herbs. I also started the royal jelly today after reading about it here.
