I am going to have to go to the store after work to pick up some extra stuff for smoothies- I didn't get enough the first time. I did buy fresh pineapples and cut them into quarters with the core. Then I froze them in individual baggies to make it easier for the smoothies.
I froze my pineapple as well...plus I picked up some of the Fruit2Day pineapple banana...it has pineapple puree and chunks of pineapple. I'm sure the part that they puree is the core.

Linz- I totally understand and asked my DH the same thing befoe I sealed the envelope with the check. We put the majority on a cc too. Paid a little in cash and for my meds in cash. I have plans to pay off about 1/2 (esp with tax refund with claiming medical) in a years time. But I get scared what if something happens. Just trying to take a deep breath and let it be in Gods hands.

Thanks for the answers ladies. And I know I have quite a while to decide on a vehicle- was just trying to take advangtage of the governements plan since my clunker has 215,000+ miles! And hoping AF will show up sooner than predicted so I can get the show on the road!

Thanks for all the support ladies. Im just gonna pray that I have an easier time for my final draw tomorrow.

Throughout this whole process, I think Ive been doing great. Just following the rules, waking up early etc. Ive been fortunate enough to not have any side effects, and Ive been told everyday that I have a tremendous amount of good looking follicles. I thought everything was going so well.

Well I feel like Im finally gonna crack... first the crying at the never ending poking, then almost crying during my repeated calls to the pharmacy to get the syringes and needles to go with the meds they shipped to me. I felt like this --> when they told me that I need a separate prescription for the needles and syringes. I made it through that though, and thought okay, Im almost at the finish line... only for my doctor to call me to let me know that they can bring me to the finish line, but I may not cross it.

Apparently, my estrogen levels are at 3500 and it looks like I may be overstimmed. We are going to go ahead with ER on Wed, but they will probably freeze them, and wait to be certain that I dont become ill or develop OHSS.

I just cannot understand why I never find the easy route. Please pray that we are still all lead to the same destination.

Talking WooHoo!!!

Ok so I spoke to RE office. I trigger tonight at 11:15 pm and have my ER Wednesday morning at 11:15am. Check my signature for my latest and greatest on follies and hormone levels.

I was supposed to only be progesterone suppositories...my case worker at the RE office says Dr. S really wants me to do the shots. Problem is I don't have anyone to give them to me cause DH can't handle the big needle. So he proposed a compromise. I go in Friday for more b/w. If my prog. level is where they want it to be I can continue with supp., if they aren't high enough I need to take the shots, BUT they won't be PIO they will be PIE (in the alcohol based stuff). It is still a long needle cause it's IM, but it is a much thinner needle cause it isn't the thick oil. So pray for high prog. levels on Friday please!

I guess that's all for me.

PG: Please update me to Wednesday 8/5 for ER and probably Saturday 8/8 for ET.

Could things get any worse? My husband and his 3 brothers are all in the military, well we got the phone call yesterday-his younger brother was killed in action in Afghanistan. We immediately packed our bags and called the doc's office to see if we could switch our appt to this morning...they obviously bent over backwards for us, but my RE found a cyst on my left ovaries... so, with that being said, he would rather us postpone the cycle to next month and put me on BCP to reduce and eliminate the cyst.

Please keep my husband and his family in your prayers. His brother leaves behind his wife and a 5 year old daughter.

Hoping everyone gets some BFP's and I will be checking in every once and awhile.

Jackie

Wow ladies - I've been away from the thread for a few days and there have been soooo much activity!

Chila and SuzS - I'm sorry to hear your news. Hugs to you both.

PG Florida - DH and I am on Doxycycline too. One pill, two times a day. LOL. Your DH story was so funny. My DH apparantly wasn't listening at the doctors appt and he almost didn't believe me when I told him he had to take pills. At first he thought doxycycline was a shot - he looked like he was about to cancel the cycle!! Men! LOL! Oh - and thanks for the master list. Its great. You are awesome!

2 Lines - Read your blog. Its great. Hey - I get migraines too. Not from lupron - I've just had them for the last decade or so. I get them about once every month or so. Actually that's the reason I haven't logged on in the last few days. I've been sick to my stomach. I can't take Imitrex while going through the IVF process. It really sucks. I have to continue to pray that I don't get those headaches. They really knock me out.

Lucy4 - Wow, sweetie, I hope you don't have to experience those horrible blood draws anymore. I've only one had thus far - they had to go to both arms - but it wasn't as much as you had to put up with. I pray it gets better for you!

Alyson and 3rd Time - how are you doing? I think you guys are up for ER soon, right? I pray you get plenty of good quality eggs!

WeWantaBaby and TracyB - thanks for the good luck wishes. I'm about to give myself my first stim injection. Or I may let DH do it. I get nervous. I like to do it myself first - then I guess I'll let him do it tomorrow. (WeWantABaby - 18 fertilitzed - that's great!! )

Texas80 - So sorry to hear about your brother in law. So so sorry. I am praying for you and your family.

Linez25 - pray for direction. God will show you what do you. I pray he gives you peace with your decision.

MrsJB - You are on lupron right? You are not alone. I am too. I'm down to 5 units now, but I'm still getting hot flashes. So, I feel your pain. I have the ceiling fans on in our house at all times. I get hot doing nothing. The wonderful world of lupron....

AFM- I'm about to take my first stim shot. I'm nervous about the burning I hear will take place!

Questions:
1) How long are you all on bedrest after ET? My RE just said the day of and the day after. The third day I can go back to normal stuff like going to work and sitting at my desk - just nothing like exercise or active stuff.

2) They told me I will stay on lupron until they tell me to stop. When will they tell me to stop? You don't continue lupron after ER and ET do you? (I have a perscription for more lupron, but I don't want to fill it if I don't have to.)

Baby dust to all - gotta go stick myself!

Newbie - Good luck with your first stim shot. Don't be nervous. It's not bad at all. In fact, most of my stims haven't burned. Just a couple and it wasn't bad. Go girl!

AFM, I have my last b/w and u/s tomorrow morning and then hopefully will be given the okay to trigger tomorrow night. Wow. I can't believe the week is here for ER and ET!

and to us all!

Hey- Yeah I am still on evil Lupron. I am down to 5 now at least. I swear every time I am checking out at the commissary a hot flash comes over me. It makes me want to run over to the frozen food section and stick my head in the freezers! LOL!

I checked my calendar and it looks like I am to stay on the Lupron until the night of the trigger.

They told me to plan for two days of limited movement. No cooking, no cleaning, no exercise, no shopping.
