Ectopic? Please Help!

Thursday= Beta 6, 17dpo Saturday= Beta 20, 19dpo
What is going on? ectopic? I have another blood draw today. This is a miracle BFP before starting IVF in July. If this is ectopic and we can't do IVF, Im seriously going to be depressed.

i had an ectopic in 2006. My numbers doubled the first 3 sets and then held steady. If this is an exctopic than you can still do IVF as it has nothing to do with ovaries. I had to have my tube removed as it ruptured at 10wks. My numbers were in the 300's though. They can give you a shot that will help you naturally disolve the ectopic. your numbers to me sound more like a chemical pregnancy though as they are low. You can PM me with any quations you may have

It's kinda hard to tell just by the 2 numbers. With my ectopic, my first beta was 90 and 2 days later it had more than doubled to 201. I think I was about 5w when I had the first one drawn so for that far along, my numbers were on the low side. But it wasn't until a couple days later when I started bleeding that they first thought something was wrong. With your numbers as low as they are, I agree that you could have a chemical pregnancy, but it could also be a late implanter. Are you having a 3rd beta drawn? That should give you a better idea of what's going on.

I'm so sorry that you're going through all this uncertainty. But like the previous poster said, having an ectopic doesn't prevent you from being able to do IVF. It might delay it, but as far as I know there's no reason you would be unable to do it at all. I hope all you're experiencing is a late implanter, but just remember that the ladies on this forum will be here for you no matter what the outcome is. Hang in there and try to relax at least a little until you know more.

I was able to do IVF soon after my ectopic. I just had to wait 2 months from when I got the methotrexate shot. I actually chose to do IVF after the ectopic so I wouldn't have to use my tubes. I wish you luck!
