Hi girls, today I went to the dr for my final ultrasound in order for my RE to release me completely. (my RE is actually 6 hours away and I haven't seen her since ET). I saw my precious baby again, I'm going to miss seeing it about every week! Its still had a heart rate of 180 and today I finally got to hear it. It was amazing. That little heart beat made me melt, I'm a believer, for me and for all of us! I can't wait til we all hear that racing! Anyways I'm feeling so peaceful and happy, I wanted to share. On our mama board, there has been a few losses, 2 today and 1 a couple days ago, so I don't want to celebrate there for sad hearts, and then I thought twice before posting here but you have all been so supportive, I knew that even though its not breaking news, that you would care to know. I go back on the 24th for my initial OB appt. Do the history and physical thing. Today is a good day! Hope you all had a good day too!

that is wondeful news!!!! I am so happy you got to hear the baby heartbeat, what a wonderful sound that must be!!!!

that must be a great feeling to be released to the OBGYN, what a milestone... I can't wait to hear all about other ones!!!

Courtney - I couldn't be more happy for you. And you should never feel like you can't share good news with us, or with the mamas on the June board. We all rejoice when one of us has good news, just as we all hurt when the news is bad. So keep posting!

hoping - that was sweet of you to think of me today. Unfortunately the news was not the miracle that I had hoped for. I knew it wouldn't be because I started to miscarry yesterday, bleeding profusely and in lots of pain. When I went in today, the OB (who, by the way, was wonderful!) did an ultrasound and the result was surprising. If you recall, during my last U/S at 7 weeks, the RE could only see the sac but no fetus. Today, at 10 weeks, there was the sac, and there was definitely a fetus, measuring almost 7 weeks! For some reason, this was reassuring to me. Even though there was still no heartbeat, and it was obviously so far behind that it was not viable, I felt like anything is possible. We will try again, maybe next spring. Anyway, I decided to do the D&C today. I cried on the table, but now I'm feeling so much better, like I can move on. And we are moving on. Our homestudy will be done by the end of December and we're going to focus on adoption for a few months. But I'm not leaving you ladies. I'll still check in every few days to see how you are. So all of you, please keep posting if you have news... You've been really wonderful.

Leora- I was stocking you. I have been on pins and needles for you all day long. I am so sorry the end result wasn't what we had hoped for. You are an amazing and wonderful woman... I have said it before.... I love your spirit!
Now my prayers for you will change to a quick adoption or a great pregnancy if you go that direction. Your name says it all.... the reward for your perseverance will be amazing.

Can't give up - Love and prayers for you. May you continue to be strong and courageous. Anything is possible! You are a mother of a precious baby angel. You just have to wait to meet him/her until you get to heaven. I don't think it would be possible to set up a better nursery here on earth. I just visualized my two little fertilized eggs that didn't make it playing with your child. Hard to imagine, but I'd really like to believe that it is possible. I send you my best wishes for the rest of your journey. Somehow you are going to have a baby here to hold!
