Need opinions and expierences!
I went in this morning for my first b/w and u/s after 4 days of stims and there are only 3 follies under 10. They are already talking about converting to IUI. They said if they all 3 mature they would consider proceeding.
What are your thoughts? If I do end up with 3 mature follies should I PUSH to proceed with ivf or convert to IUI and try ivf again next month? If we decide to try again another month what are the chances that the out come will be any different? Any advise or stories would be great!

I think you should give it a few more days before deciding. I believe my clinic will proceed with only 3 follicles. I am a very poor responder, initially I only had a few follicles, but a few follicles caught up with the others by the time of ER. I also did accupuncture almost every day which I believe helped me get a few more follicles. In the end, I only had 4 mature follicles (I thought I was going to have 5). 1 arrested. Thus, I was only left with 3 and got a BFP.

It is a girl!! 8/20/09-20 week ultrasound. Normal!!

I don't really have any opinions or past experiences but I just wanted to offer my support. I'm in a similar situation check out my post Is this poor stim response or just anxiety.... I'd would imagine your going back for another ultrasound in the next couple of days...wait and see how things have grown, maybe they can increase the dosage of your stims. But I wouldn't try to decide what you will do untill its really time to make a decision. Everyone I know whose done IVF has advised to expect the unexpected and take it day by day, visit by visit. But I know where you are. I was terrified of OHSS before I started stims now I wish I'd start to see some symptoms
 of it. I'm sending you lots of  and  that our follies grow and multiply! Lauren
