I'm on day 6 of stims and just had some bad cramping and went to the washroom and am spotting a little. Is this normal or should I call my RE?

This is my 3rd round of IVF (the first was 2 1/2 years ago with BFP, the second was just this last March.) Anyway, my RE had said that spotting or bleeding after stopping the BCP was normal; on my previous 2 IVF cycles I never even spotted....this cycle I would say I had a full blown AF so I think it is normal. You could check with RE if it would help you relax I too am on day 6 of stims and just stopped bleeding last evening so....

Yes we are on the same schedule...my tenative ER is set for the 3rd and if I respond to the stims the same I have for the last 2 cycles it should be that day for sure. Then not sure if we will do a day 3 or 5 trasfer. We have always done day 3 transfer but this time we will be doing assisted hatch so not sure when they like to do ET.

Yeah, you will have to let me know what your clinic says about bleeding.....I know what mine says, but always good to hear other opinions. Where are you from if don't mind me asking? I think it may have been you that I am thinking of on the June thread that is on the same stim medications as I am (Menopur and Bravelle).....and I really have not seen any other people on that same combination. I am from southern Minnesota but my RE is located in Woodbury which is a suburb of Minneapolis.

Skogies, yup that's me on the June thread. Darn stinging Bravelle and Menopur . What are your dosages? I'm 225 Bravelle - 75 Menopur - she said is was a little aggressive due to my advanced maternal age (those weren't exactly the words she use LOL). Do you have any E2 numbers yet? I was 851 yesterday - interested to see what I am tomorrow.

I am from Vancouver, Canada by the way.

woo hoo! you girls are a week ahead of me. i've been bleeding since last tuesday after my hysteroscopy! and now that BCP stopped it's a heavier flow...i called and they seem to think it's normal.

Well I am on higher doses of meds than you and they have never told me I was poor responder or that I am AMA.... oh well....I started out taking Menopur 150u/Bravelle 300 units for the first two days then, Menopur 150u/Bravelle 150units for two days, now I took Bravelle 300units today and will again tomorrow and then my RE will contact me later tomorrow after my US and BW and tell me how much Bravelle daily after that. I am done with Menopur (I just took that for the first 4 days.) I do not know my E2 numbers, that is one of the down falls of monitoring at a local clinic, they draw my blood and fax the results to my RE so I generally do not find out my numbers until my next appt. And I have not been in since Monday so will see what tomorrow brings!!!

The RE's office called and the spotting is okay

cagirl, did you not hate that hysteroscopy - it hurt - but everything hurts me LOL...big 38 year old baby.

skogies - I'm looking forward to finding out your numbers. Good luck at your next appt.
