Mom43-lol...spiders...I am pretty sure that if we produced that many eggs...we would be HYPERstimulated for sure!!

Thanks Everyone for the support!!

Val-we are psyched for twins...just so we are not freaked if it happens...I would obviously prefer just one, but we are ready, just in case!!

Big Week Comin' Up Gals...Yay Chocolate

KMP-I was so freaked yesterday I had Cocoa Puffs and Fudgesicles for lunch!! Then I took a nap, and my outlook was brighter upon awakening!! Chocolate is wonderful!!

Val and Mak27 and

KMP and Holly and StillWaiting- for ER!! (I love the little symbols!!)

mrembo-I am glad that we made it into July...the Chinese calendar thingie says that for my age, the month of July is a boy baby...which I promised my husband we would have!!

Cologirl-It wouldn't be so bad to have my Gonal F raised if I didn't have to do two shots last night, and probably again on Monday to get the dosage out of the pens!! But, yeah...sucky...was yours because of estrogen levels too?

Wannabe-is your trigger given in your butt? I am nervous too...my husband is switching shifts to 4 to midnight on Monday...so I have the added stress of having to get my trigger shot in the back of my van in his work parking lot...ahem. Let me know how it goes!!

Patilla - you mean, no one ever told you that having a baby is as sexy as a shot in the butt in the back of a van?!? :-)
So sorry to hear that you have that added stress, I know you'll do just fine, but it sucks!

Hi Ladies!
Whew! We just got back from the ER. I wasn't sure what to expect and was probably a little more nervous about the procedure than I needed to be. Once we went into the OR, I don't remember a thing. 2 seconds later it seemed like I was wide awake in recovery with my DH.

They got 8 eggs out of the ER. Of course we'll be on pins and needles seeing how many fertilize.

Kmp: good luck tomorrow!!

Patilla - Yeah my estrogen levels weren't rising like they wanted. I've had to give myself 3 shots in one night once....awful.

Holly - 8 eggs ! that is awesome. that they all fertilize. Go get some rest.

AFM - I am on day 5 of stims and after my u/s this morning they saw 6 to 7 on my right and 4 on my left. My left is not very active. It looks like my right is the baby maker. I am still waiting on my E2 levels...I'll let you know once I get that update.

Cologirl-Sorry about the 3 shots. I think you are badass, though!

Stillwaiting-Thanks for the kind words.

Of course, in the 10 min since I've posted I'm double-guessing and becoming paranoid that maybe 8 eggs is not enough. But, can't really change that now can we? I'm telling myself that it is not the number, but the quality and how many fertilize, right?

We'll know more tomorrow morning when we hear from the RE.

Sorry, Ladies, this will be the last "freak-out" post.

Holly - I'm sure we've all 'freaked out' plenty. 8 is a great number! Just keep in mind.. 1 is all it takes!! I know how frusterating numbers are though. Hang in there!

Colo - I always found it strange to be able to know which ovary is stronger... these are the things I never thought I'd learn.

Holly - thats great great news !!! 8 eggies !!! for a great fertilization report tomorrow !! Rest well today !

Colo - glad things are moving along so nicely for you !!

Patilla - I am LMAO about doing your trigger in a van !! The things we will do. I am not at trigger yet - hopefully a day or two but am still pretty nervous about the whole deal. Then wait till the PIO shots.. Oy Vey !!

Mak - Congrats on a great ER and best wishes for your ET tomorrow.

KMP - Happy Early Bday and ER day !!!

Stillwaiting - for good news at your appt tomorrow.

Val - congrats on your 2 embies !! GROW EMBIES GROW !!

AFM, I had my US and BW this morning. My E2 went up to 1699 !!! I have a total of 23 follicles but about 8-10 are in play. They are ranging from 12mm-17mm. And my lining is up to 12.

So, they completely took away my follistim and now I am only doing 5 units of Lupron and 150iu of Menopur.

And back to the RE tomorrow morning for another US and BW. Am guessing I will trigger Sun or Mon for an ER of Tue or Weds.

Its getting closer -

Enjoy the weekend everyone !!

KMP- dying to know how many healthy eggs you got from your nine follies.

Val - Two fertilized! Woowee !! ET Monday.

Mak - Good luck on your ET Sunday! How many are you going to transfer?

Holly - 8 eggs? You ARE a spider!

Colo- You are right. TMI re ovaries. But I need to share. My left ovary was the strong one last time and this time it's hands down the right. Go figure.

Wannabe - Now I may be on the same schedule as you with a similar follie count. Seems like I take longer (than KMP that is). I'm on the fence apparently, Monday or Tuesday ER. Watiting to hear from RE.

My follie count -- on right - 20, 19, 18, 16, 2x13, 2x12, 5<10; and on left - 22, 2x14, 13, 11, 2<10. Seems like they're split, half big and more-than-half small. This is where we really have to trust our REs not to let the bigs ones go, unless there are more little ones to replace it. I'm trying to do just that. Trusting and patience are not my strong suits -- the two main traits needed for women undergoing IVF. I'm trying . . .

Sorry, I've been trying to post all day, but I've been so busy. My parents are up here this afternoon helping me plant a garden. Needless to say, all the crouching down to dig up dirt has made my ovaries really unhappy, so I scheduled an emergency date with my acupuncturist just to calm myself down.

Thank you for all the well wishes and kind words everyone! I honestly don't know what I would have done if you all hadn't been here.

Holly - 8 is a fantastic number...Are you going to get a fert report tomorrow? I know this part of the waiting is the worst. I hope you are taking it easy today and getting some well-deserved rest!

Patilla - I was laughing so hard from your comments! Thanks for that

Mak - Thank you for the support! I hope my birthday brings lots of luck for you and everyone on the boards! 5 eggs is awesome...are you going to transfer 2? Hope you are enjoying the sunshine in Beverly!

Cologirl - I hope the stims do what they're supposed to...I don't know if I could do 3 shots per night! You are a rockstar !

Wannabe - wow, awesome jump in e2! Sounds like you are really close...good luck on tomorrow's u/s.

Stillwaiting - I'm so sorry you have to still wait for the next step... that you get good news tomorrow.

Mom43 - whoa, lots of follies! That is fantastic! Are you triggering tonight?

I will definitely be posting tomorrow and let you know how everything goes. Enjoy the rest of the day!!

Hi Ladies,

Question: How long is the high protein/low sodium diet supposed to last following ER? My DH thinks its just for a few days, I thought it was until the preggo test.

Also, is sugar OK to have? I felt guilty today b/c it was our neighborhood cookout and I had a slice of poundcake.

Just wondering!

I'm feeling really good. I have very little cramping and no pain whatsoever. (knock on wood)
