Congrats Colo on triggering and the very best to all our ET's today.

AFM, I am 1dp3dt and I am already freaking out.

I dreamt that we were unsuccessful bc yesterday when I was laying on the OR table right after the ET and trying to pee in the bed pan - and tried to force it a little, that I pushed the embabies out.

I am certifiable. Call the little men in the white coats.

I have 11 more days till my Beta. How am I going to survive ????

Good Morning Girls!

I'm just now checking the board since I was ordered to bed rest and could not come in here to get on the computer.

It looks like all our transfers went just fine. Congrats to Wannabe, KTS and Lola!! Now we are waiting together!

Mom42, Patilla, Mrembo - Best of luck for your transfers. Thinking of you!

For me - I drank myself silly yesterday before my transfer and was too full! I had to empty some twice before he could perform the transfer! It was such a relief to just pee a little bit! Our doc went over our transfer options and told us that 1 looked really great and one was pretty good and the other he was looking at was not so good. The other two we had were still developing and he was still watching those. He said we are doing the day 3 transfer and we needed to decide on 2 or 3. He told us with the quality of the third one that there was only a 10% chance of triplets. We weighed the options and talked with him and decided to go with 3 - honestly, triplets freaks me out, but my DH and the doc were leaning to the three transfer, so I did it. After keeping my bottom half tilted in the air for 45 minutes, the doctor released me to get dressed (and pee!!!) and gave me the embryo report. He said he transferred an 8A, 8B and 6B - he smiled and kind of chuckled when he said the 6B had grown more and was better quality than he anticipated. OH MY GOSH! I was freaked, still am a little. I am just praying that it works - 1, 2 or 3 and we will be happy.

for us all and sending tons of your way!!

Take care of yourselves! We deserve it!

Hi Ladies,
I am at the family reunion and literally am hiding with the computer so that someone doesn't walk up behind me (only my MIL and DIL know and there are 19 other people here!)

Congrats to all the Transfer ladies!! How exciting!!
My RE had no valium or sedatives, it was very similar to a pap smear except I had a very full bladder and was concentrating on not peeing on the doctor (I asked the nurse and she said it happens all the time!!)

kmp, I hope you are feeling better! I'm glad it won't have an effect on your embies. Get some rest and take it easy!!

Hello!
I'm back from vacation, and feeling fine. Friday I basically changed positions between the bed and the couch, so I slept most of the day. As of last night, the pain and nausea are totally gone. I'm really hoping that no other episodes happen for the rest of the week . Poor DH was too scared to even come into the bedroom Fri night because he was afraid that if he woke me up, I would puke again.

Looks like we had a ton of ETs this weekend... to everyone who got through it!!!!

Wannabe - did they give you a bedpan for real, or was that just in your dream?

Cologirl - I'm not sure about your E2 levels, since my clinic doesn't take them the day of trigger or after. But I hope your trigger shot went well! Enjoy your no-shots day!!

Holly - Have fun at your family reunion!

Remember to update the calendar everyone! junjul_ivf: July 2009

KMP - so glad u are home and doing fine !!

Oh, the bed pan was real and in my dream. I was so going to burst after the ET they gave me a bedpan - but I guess I had stage fright or I don't know what it was bc I could not go. I tried and tried and nothing. So, yes my dream was a replay of true events. Funny farm, here I come !!!

kmp- what an awesome idea with the calendar! I have been floating on these boards for literally years now, and that is the first time I've ever seen one like that, so easy to keep track of everyone! Looks like I'm the only one with a beta this week so far... hope I start July off with a bang and not a thud.

I am happy to say that my rash is still itching out of control, which just HAS to be a good sign... plus this morning I had a tiny bit of brown spotting... which I also only had with the 2 cycles that started were . The only thing that is worse than the 2ww is the hours that it takes the office to call after you take your beta test. That is literally the worst, and I'm just a mess thinking about it.

I hope everyone had a great and relaxed 4th, and can't wait to have some great news to post tomorrow. Please keep your and keep me in your . to all.

thanks everyone. The shot went well. Didn't hurt at all. I asked the nurse this morning after they did more b/w if it is normal for my e2 to plateau and they said yes it is and that sometimes the body just can't handle more estrogen. Well tomorrow morning is my ER. I am so excited. I'll keep everyone posted.

Sending to everyone!

Hey Ladies,
Just curious - are any of you telling your friends about your journey with IVF. We've only clued in our families and a couple of friends, but some others know we have been TTC and have just asked about it. Part of me wants to shout it from the rooftops, but the other part wants to remain secretive. Just confused....
Thanks!

Sunflower- My parents and my DH parents were the only ones that knew at first. Then I had to tell my boss in order to negotiate time off. Then after my retrieval I had OHSS and it was really hard to hide from everyone at work so now my colleagues know.
I think that it is such a personal decision. Its weird becasue you have nothing to be ashamed of so no secrecy seems neccissary but at the same time the more people who know the more questions that come. I was surprisingly relieved when everyone at work found out and they are all super understanding.
I say if you have the urge to tell someone go for it, it may give u another outlet and we can all use tons of those right now!

Got my results

Out of 21 eggs retrieved, 15 were fertilized and as of today, we have 11 embryos. Not sure if that's a crazy high number or what, but I am thankful for the news.

Hoping they go strong till Tuesday when we get our next update (and potentially do day 3 transfer).

Very nervous, and sadly, all I keep thinking about is wine!

Still slightly crampy from the ER yesterday, but nothing horrible and start progesterone shot tonight. Wondering if those will be as painful as the subcutaneous (esp. Menopur...that burned so bad!).
