AFM, still holding on by a thread. Cried myself to sleep last night. I all but feel nothing. My boobs are totally back to normal. Feeling pretty sad and defeated - and yes, while I know I have not yet POAS - my DH just won't let me - I am just pretty down.

Hi Katoosa !!

The one and only time I ever made it to beta - they volunteered the #. They had to, in order to explain that I was probably experiencing a chemical and that the number was too low for it to be a viable pregnancy. I have never had any other BETA's ... but I am guessing they give you the number.

Sorry I have been a bit MIA lately...it's just been so hectic that I only get on here once a day lately. We told my in-laws and my parents yesterday (of course with the caution that it's really early and we don't know much of anything yet). So that took some time. Then DH had to pack to leave for work this morning.

Sunflower & Mak - I am for a great big beta for you today!!!! Sunflower, don't worry, I am still getting morning cramps.

kts - is your beta today? If so, good luck!

Holly - Congrats!! Yeah, it's funny how we have been pretty similar so far. I can't believe how many BFPs we are getting on this board!! My nurse told me they like to see a number between 100-200. Ours is definitely over that. They won't say anything about multiples until the 1st u/s I think, though. As for having sex, I don't think it's safe yet. But I am still crazy horny from all these hormones, so I can't wait until it is safe! I would just ask your nurse or RE to double check, and to see when the earliest time you can "bring sexy back" is.

Katoosa - I never got beta #'s when my betas were negative. Every clinic is different, though (and every RE probably is too)...I asked my nurse when she called, but I ask for all my numbers whenever I have bw, so I think she's used to giving that to me. I've heard of some clinics that don't tell you the beta #'s until your 2nd beta. I guess it's so they can check that it's a viable pregnancy. Hope that helps.

Wannabe - Seriously, hang in there! I had the same type of morning 2 days before my beta...I was convinced it was a bust, and cried at acupuncture. But there is just no way to tell this early. I had the exact same symptoms as when I got my negative the cycle before (except my boobs hurt more that time...this time, still nothing). Your lack of symptoms might be a good sign!! I will think positive thoughts for you today. You aren't out of it yet!!

Mom43 - Are you back from vacation yet? You've missed so much!! And we miss you!

AFM - not much is new, besides telling the moms and dads. Holly, my mom also shrieked...DH was actually videotaping our computer screen because we were Skyping with my parents. My sister (the preggo one) called last night and her due date got pushed 2 weeks earlier...they told her she's going to have a 10-lb baby! I don't think she is, since her other ones were only 6 lbs. Wow, I have been avoiding my sister for most of my IF journey...it's going to be so strange to share this experience with her.

How is everyone else doing? Kakey, I noticed you put your beta date in the calendar...thanks! Makes it much easier to keep track of everyone. Avoiding the drinking/off-limits food is always tough. Do you think your mom suspects anything?

I have so much work to do today...gotta run. But I will be checking later for more ++ results!!

The nurse just called with my Beta results and said, "you're pregnant, congratulations!"
I held out and I didn't even POAS this morning. I almost can't believe it!! As soon as I hung up the phone, I started crying and hugging my husband. She didn't give me any numbers, though - I was crying and too excited to ask! I do have to go back on Thursday for the 2nd Beta. I am !!!!

Oh my good lord! Holy news!!!! I just got back from Lake Powell (like Grand Canyon with a river runing through it) and WOW! I could hardly wait to get back to see what was happening with everyone! BFPS for Lola, KMP, Mak, KTS, Holly, Sunflower, and more! WOW!!!!!

Mrembo and Kokasmom - I too am not POAS'ing. Too much to lose emotionally, and from what I can tell from the rest on this board, still keeps you on pins and needles and then some, even if you POAS positive. It's killing me though. We're almost there!

AFM - A few days ago I had pinching at the top of my uterus. I took that to be the full implantation. A day or so after (July 11), I prayed in the morning for a sign, any sign that I was pregnant. My b-day was July 12th (I'm now Mom44), so I said, to whatever's out there, for my birthday, please, all I want is a sign. Well, an hour and a half later, when I went to the bathroom, I had my first ever, and only, quarter sized perfectly round red spot on toilet paper. Now, I know we on 2WWs fear red blood, but I took it, at that moment, that that was implantation bleeding. And, I'd read on some site that red blood is more common with twins. So there you go. That's optimism at its best, is it not? So I say to you, that I am indeed prego with twins and I'm not going to let any POAS test tell me differently. I choose to believe.

So I wake up this morning and all the doubts come back. I don't feel much, except maybe a little pre-AF cramping. Am I a moron or what? My DH thinks I am beyond crazy. I fought off POAS'ing this morning, and actually had DH hide the stick I had in the cabinet. Since I Beta test tomorrow, for the next 36 hours, I choose to believe - I am pregnant with a healthy and happy boy and girl.
