Another Update

My E2 levels came back - 35.4. She said it was perfectly normal.

So if only that WITCH would get here - we can get this ball rolling.

Hope you are enjoying the day.

BTW - my DH was scared when we were doing the IUIs that the sperm would fall out...After the IUI, he'd make me lay down in the car with a pillow under my bum!

I said I was going to stand on my head in the corner for two weeks!! We do have to drive about an hour and a half for the ET, so maybe I will take advantage of our new mini-van and lie in the back seat!!

I am taking Lupron 10u and right now BCP, which stops tomorrow. Then hopefully will be taking Gonal-F 300u starting the 21st...I am not sure what my body is doing, so that is the plan, but there have been snafu's so far...

Hi Ladies,

I would like to join your thread too if I may? The June cycle is way too crowded to keep up with anything!

I started Lupron on 6/11 and based on when I get, I will add Gonal-F either 6/20 or 6/27.

I am hoping for ET around 7/5.

This is my first IVF cycle and it would be great to be part of a group that is going through it at the same time!

My name is Shilo, by the way.

Shilo!! Wow, our group is growing by the day! I see you are a Beantown girl...how do you like Boston IVF so far? I've been at RSC since last August. I love my RE, although the clinic's protocols on certain things could use improvement.

AFM - still waiting on my bw results...They should have called by now. I called the nurse and left a message. Sometimes they call my house phone even though I specifically tell them every time to call my cell. Of course I don't remember the answering machine code.

Wannabe - that is a great e2! Are you feeling any cramps or signs that AF is on its way? I got mild cramps yesterday morning and then got spotting.

mrembo - congrats on the last BCP/anti-baby pill! It's such a relief to be done, isn't it?

Nada, zippo, nothing, ziltch !! LOL !!!

If I go by what my cycles were like when I was on the pill for 9 years - perfect 28 day cycles....I am guessing it will be here on Wednesday, as my last AF was on 5/20.

Yes, I too am thrilled with the E2 # and that my lining looked good too. Just enough for a light period. If only she would get here !!

I know what you mean about the RE's and calling. I always say, call my cell, call my cell and they call my house. and then by the time I get the message they are closed for the day. SO FRUSTRATING. Luckily most results, I call in the messaging system for....so it works pretty well.

GOOD LUCK in waiting for you # !!!

Finally...but not quite yet

Finally got the call...and guess what...they are delaying my stims until Friday Not because anything is wrong, but because there are too many people already scheduled for est ER/ET around the same days as I was supposed to be. So I won't be getting my ER/ET on my birthday (6/28). Looks like I'll be having ER somewhere around 29th or 30th now. That puts me at risk for having ET on the 4th of July. Darn, I was looking forward to a relaxing, stress-free long weekend.

E2 was good though: 41.

Ugh, I was so looking forward to getting things started. I should be used to waiting by now though...

Hi Everyone

KMP - sorry your cycle is being delayed.

Patilla - I was on Letrozole (also called Femara) for the first 5 days while I am stimming (finished yesterday). My Dr. was also talking about putting me on the Deximethicone (sp?) but decided not to since I am a diabetic and steroids raise my blood sugar.

I am on day 6 of my stims and am not feeling 100% right now. Mostly just tired and kinda "off". I also feel like I am having trouble thinking clearly, like I say one word when I mean another.

Are others on stims finding your weight is up? Mine is up about 3.5 pounds since starting the Lupron on 6/8, just one week. Is this normal? I am hoping it is just me making lovely follies and eggs. :-)

Tomorrow is my day 7 utltrasound. I'll get my dates on the calendar.

WANNABE - forgot to add, I only had 6 follies before I started my drugs and got my period and the Dr. told me that was normal and doesn't mean anything for this go round. That just shows what you had for your LAST cycle. The Stims will make you grow more follies THIS cycle. I thought because I only had 6, that that was all I would grow this cycle, and she said no, the drugs will make me grow more than I normally would as well as make the eggs that grow mature appropriately. Hope that helps!

Hello!!!

Hello Everyone!! Mind if I join? I can't believe I haven't noticed this thread by now..I'm on here practically everyday. Oh well. I found you now I'm Maribeth and this is our 1st IVF. I expect ET will be right around July 4th...which sort of bums me out but that's okay. I've read a bunch of your posts and tried to get up to speed on everyone else. Like most of you I'm just waiting for AF to show. Of course this is the first month in 2 years that I just wanted her to get here. Once she gets here I"ll start stimming-Gonal-f and Repronex. I'm anxious about everything and just want to get the show on the road. The anticipation is killing me. So, glad to be here and it will be an interesting road to be sure.

Passed Suppression Check

Hi Ladies,
Sorry it took me a while to check in. I can't check the board at work.

My Suppression Check seemed to go fine today. Said everything looked "beautiful" and my estradiol was low (which was good).

We are starting stims tomorrow, so now my protocol is 5 units of Lupron in the am/225 of Gonal F in the pm. ER will be around 6/29.

Starting this Friday, I will be going in everyday for bloodwork and u/s. How exciting! After waiting so many months to get the timing right we are getting down to business. I will definitely keep you all in the loop.

Just know that the next time you're dreading giving yourself a shot or obsessing over a some small detail in this whole ordeal that there are a few other girls going through the exact same thing. We are all pulling for you!!

Holly
