Thanks for all the kind words and support! I know my day will come in some form. I'm soooo lucky to have a wonderful, loving and supportive husband along side me every step of the way. It's funny how quickly you forget all the needles and procedures....I could probably start again in 21 days now (we start our injections on day 21)
....but I think we'll wait another month.

kts - no I haven't had a beta yet, I will in 2 days but I'm 100% certain it's not just a bit of spotting.

Oh dear, I wasn't around the last couple of days because of my own little tradegy but I want to say I'm so sorry dear. I guess you and are are going to be cycling again together in Sept/Oct. I'm terribly sorry that's the case, but hope we both have better success.

OMG... I wondered why you had dissappeared. I'm so sorry for your loss it's so dissapointing how getting a positive beta doesn't guarantee anything...your time will come and you will have your baby

Igloochic - Wow, I am so truly sad for your loss. I'm sorry...I don't quite know what to say to ease your pain except that I'm thinking of you, and I hope you're doing OK. Everyone's right...you will have your turn, sooner rather than later.

Igloo-I'm so very very sorry! I'm sorry for your fur baby, too. I am a huge animal lover, we lost our 12 year old fur baby last November and I still get weepy when we talk about him.

You have in your signature an emergency u/s, do you mind me asking what happened??

Please don't lose touch with us, we want to know how you're doing.

Holly

Goodness gracious ya'll almost made me say goodness gracious! Thank you for the incredibly sweet thoughts. I'll be ok. It wasn't the best ending to a week that I've ever had...ok probably the worst, but I'm doing ok.

I hosted a party for several hundred people on Thursday night, and took it easy as I have been since the BFP. Every thing was great, and we told everyone about the pregnancy (hard not to since I wasn't accepting drinks). We went home and I found dark blood when I went to the bathroom, just a little. So my doc rushed me in Friday morning for an US. There was nothing there...thickened lining but no embryo's.

I had a blood draw and the hcg was up but not enough. They told me I lost the pregnancy. I had to leave there and go see my kitty who was in kidney failure. I held him as they put him to sleep, he was in terrible pain and wasn't going to recover (he'd been in the hospital all week). And that was just about too much for this tough old lady to handle. I went home and had a lovely cocktail for lunch (baileys and kaluah). Right after I finished it and cried myself close to sleep my doc called and said they didn't want to discontinue meds because they think it's a twin pregnancy and didn't want to lose the second, so I'm on bed rest until tomorrow, though honestly, I think it's over. I have no symptoms at all now. When I lost the last baby last year that's exactly how I felt. Nothing, from nausea all day to nothing. Now I just wonder how long we'll have to drag this out. I'd imagine I'll have another ultrasound this week which sucks. Poor Sarah (my tech) does not want to tell me again that there's nothing there. I had promised her that when we finally got our BFP that she was going to be the one to tell me my babies were viable...and she got this instead

Ok so enough whining, that's the story. I'll be ok. I'm incredibly sad this weekend, and don't even know which thing I'm saddest about. Maybe one was a good distraction for the other...but let me advise you...don't try that distraction!!!

I'll keep following ya'll I want to see more BFP's soon!!!

Patilla-I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Sending for a good beta!

Igloo- I am soo sooo sorry. What a debilitating few days, and yet you are so gracious and positive. That is proof to me that this will happen for you, and SOON. We are all pulling for you & sending .

I am also really sorry for the loss of your kitty. I am a HUGE animal lover (dogs for me)... and I lost my german shepherd, Lola, last year to cancer. It broke my spirit, for months. No kidding.
