Patilla - great news on a great 2nd beta ! So happy for you

Igloo - sending you huge !! I too had my furbaby go in my arms - and its an image I never will be able to get out of my head. Next week is a year since we said goodbye to him and I miss him everyday. But in the end - you know you did the best thing for your kitty.
I am so sorry for what happened at your US too. Its the worst feeling to be almost there and have the rug taken right out from under you. Its cruel and its unfair - but I know that these set-backs only make us stronger. You will be in my thoughts.

AFM, I went in for what I hope is my last beta for this cycle and that it went back to zero. Of course my RE called and I was in the elevator and missed the call. Just waiting for him to call me back.
I did discontinue the PIO shots and am just going to give my body the chance to clean itself out and move on.
I had a good cry as my RE nurse drew my blood this morning. She was with me for my ER and my ET and has been so good to me thru all my IUI's and now this my 1st IVF. Shed some tears at work today too - but as time goes on, I feel better. I just have to keep pushing on.
Its so funny and so CORNY - that Miley Cyrus song was on the radio as I drove to work this morning...The Climb. I was crying as I drove but the words rang so true to me. Just gotta keep pushing. There will always be obstacles, and there will be times that we are knocked on our arsses. We just need to get up and keep going and remember the road we travelled to get to our dreams.

Ok - the Corny Wannabe show is now over.

Love you guys !!

Still thinking and praying for you! This will happen for us!!!

Spoke to my RE.....

I just hung up with my RE. My levels are officially negative. So its done. Not a big surprise there.

He feels that this was just what it was - a very early miscarriage due to the embryo had some chromosomal problems. Nothing that should in any way stop us from trying and/or succeeding.

He felt my response was text-book perfect (up until the dropping beta levels) and that when we are ready to try again - that he would keep the protocol the same. He loved my follicular response, loved my fertilization rate and all that. He said he is very confident that we would be successful.

So its up to me now as to when we start again.
I am definitely needing to wait until my period comes so my body can clean itself out - and then he said with the next period after that, that I could come in for my ultrasound on day 2-3, make sure I have no cysts and then go back on the BCP's.

So, I am thinking that will be the plan. And I will take this time to get myself in good physical and emotional health.

So, thanks again to all of you. I will still be checking in on all of you.

Patilla - Great increase!!!

Igloochic - Again, I'm really sorry for both your losses. Thank you for sharing your story...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wannabe - I just looked up the lyrics to that song...wow, it rings so true. You will climb the mountain, make it to the top, and reach your dream, I'm sure of it.

AFM - My 3rd beta is tomorrow...I'm a little nervous just because today I have barely had any cramping or twinges.

Do you guys have any name suggestions for our Yahoo group?

Wanna- I am inspired by your courage, and so glad the RE had good news regarding your next round (and best round).

KMP- I totally get your apprehension. i am going in for an early ultrsound tomorrow, and really worried, b/c it has been a week since beta #2, and I just feel a little out of touch with the pregnancy.
You will do great tomorrow!! keep us posted.

Yahoo Group- How about the "YoYo Sisterhood" (yo being short for EmbrYO. LOL

AFM......... I have been SUPER emotional the last few days. Crying at the drop of a hat, all the time.
Has anyone else felt like this?? My poor DH.

, Lola

Hi Girls!
I am glad the board is up and running again. I check it first thing every morning and was upset it was down today.

Patilla - Yay! Great Increase!

Wannabe - Still thinking of you! It is not corny to think of that song at all! I hate to admit it (since I don't claim to be a Miley fan at all), but that song is great! It was on the radio when I started my car to go for my first Beta and my eyes swelled with tears. It just rings so true.

For me - I am just waiting for my 1st U/S on the 31st. I've had cramping on and off and have gotten dizzy a few times too. Hungry A LOT!
Lola - I've cried about little things. Seeing babies on TV, a sweet movie or TV show or a song - tears just start to well up, but I feel happy!

Yay for the great Betas - mrembo and kts

I only had 2 Betas done. I wonder why my doc didn't order a 3rd like so many of you???? After my second one, the nurse said it was time to schedule an U/S. It's not until the 31st!
