If the RE only lets 3 follicles mature with IUI, I may be in IUI-land too long and miss the IVF window of opportunity. Decisions decisions. IVF is so intrusive to the egg/fertilization/embryo-making process. And so much money. I have until 9/9-ish to make a final decision. Do you have any thoughts? I'd love to hear them!

Cologirl - I'm for you!!!
IUI vs IVF, That question has to be stressing you out. Wow, what a tough choice!
Either way... we're in this together!!!

Colo - any news?

Hi Kalmi! How are you doing? Have you found yet what you are having?

AFM...No yet but I know I will soon. We switched clinics and did our first IUI a few days ago so we will see what happens. We are only going to do IUI a few times and move to IVF in January if IUI doesn't work.

I think about you ladies all the time. Hope you are all doing well!

Hi there Kalmi,

I check in on your Yahoo chat every now and again and am delighted to see it's all going well for you all.

Cologirl - we did our first IUI last week so find out next week if that worked. So different to IVF, I've completely forgotten we even did it so it's not on my mind at all which is great. So stress free without all those needles - although lots of blood tests! Good luck to you - I hope you get a positive outcome. I'm feeling good about it

Kakey - looks like we are on the same IUI schedule. I know what you mean...I don't have ANY stress with the IUI. I totally even forget that we are doing IF treatments. I'll be for both of us.

Stillwaiting - That would be the best xmas gift! I really hope this is your turn. I'll be praying for you too

Continue to keep in touch with your updates. I love hearing from you all!

I'm so excited to hear from you guys! Thanks for checking in with us...I'm glad you are!

Ambyr - I'm for your BFP!! I hope your new clinic works out. I'll be thinking of you in 2 weeks...sending you lots of

Kakey - I'm so glad to hear from you too! How are things in NZ? It's good that you get to take a break from the shots for a bit. I love your positive attitude...I'm rooting for you!

Wannabe - Congrats on being PUPO! It looks like you got a great fertilization rate! I hope your 2ww goes by super fast. Lots of to you!

StillWaiting - That would definitely be the best present ever! I'm sure your frosties will want to snuggle in tight for the winter and come back out as babies next summer! for you.

AFM - things are going well with me. I'm in my 21st week, and I think it's finally starting to set in that I'm going to be a mom. All the baby's tests have come out perfectly normal, and he/she is growing slightly ahead of schedule. DH isn't traveling for work anymore, which is really wonderful. We're starting to do normal pregnant-people things, like set up a nursery. We ended up telling quite a few of our friends about our IF journey. DH and I still talk a lot about how far we've come. So you guys are all still on my mind and close to my heart. It makes me so happy that you're all well. I hope I'll hear from you again soon! I'll be for some more BFPs!!

Thanks KMP and Colo - I have missed the ladies on this board so much. I really have not been on much for this IVF. Tried to keep the stress down to a minimum and I just didn't feel the connections like I felt on this thread.

My are with you all! May all our dreams come true!

Colo & StillWaiting - we're actually not finding out the sex! It's kind of hard, but really fun too. DH also likes the fact that it's torture on our families because they all want to know I've been having dreams about having a boy, so I personally think it's a boy, but I guess I will have to wait and see. As for the nursery, we want to do a Scrabble theme. DH and I have spent many a night getting extremely competitive over Scrabble...we love the game, and hope our little one does too!

Colo - I know, the time has flown! Thanks so much for your well wishes. I know you'll be pg and in your 21st week really soon!!

Wannabe - I've got my fingers, toes, and everything else for you! And congrats on the frosty!

Thanks all...

so 1 week down - 1 week to go in the 2ww!!

Was concerned bc DH and I got into a stupid fight over nothing really but it just escalated (prob just all the stress of all we have been thru) - and I got so upset and was crying pretty hard and yelling and am scared that we hurt our implantation chances. The fight was at 4dp3dt.

You all miss my crazy worrying don't you???? Please tell me I am nuts and that we didn't hurt my embabies!!!!!

wannabe - remember my late-night trip to the hospital because of a ruptured cyst at 2dp3dt? If I could get a bfp after that, I am sure you can get a bfp after you and dh had it out. I guess to put a positive spin on it, maybe you released some stress so your chances for implantation went up

Yay you are halfway there! I hope this week goes by very fast!

Don't worry!! The fight was probably more of a stress reliever than anyhing else! Everything I have read about stress says its just a precaution, there is nothing to show that stress can cause anything bad to happen (unless it was "SEVERE" stress). Please try and relax, perhaps your DH can give u a nice foot rub to make up for freakin you out!
