Krista-I am sorry about the news. I have been thinking about you all day and hoping for the best
Nicole-congrats on the great BETA
Well I am 7dp3d transfer and so far it’s still a negative. There is no line there whatsoever. I tested this morning and this afternoon. I have no cramping and no symptoms. I know it’s early and there is a small possibility it can turn around but I have come to terms with the fact that this cycle didn’t work. I broke the news to DH who is just the opposite of me, very calm and positive. Just trying to figure out what to do next and for questions to ask my Dr when I meet with him and whether I would have a better cycle if I take a month off because I rather not take a month off. My Dr doesn’t recommend it either. My clinic has the highest success rates in New England for people my age, my eggs were mature and DH has excellent swimmers which makes it even worse because I just want to be able to figure out what could have gone wrong which I know it’s impossible. Sorry for venting on all of you and thanks for listening

Why are you giving up sooo early? I didn't really have any signs at all, and some days even now I don't really "feel" pregnant yet my Beta number was really high. There are many other people on here who didn't really have any symptoms but they were pregnant. You are testing extremely early and the odds of you getting a positive at this early are slim, not the other way around. I know some people who never came up positive until the day before Beta and one that never got a positive HPT but a strong Beta. You can't be so quick to give up hope.

Kris... I am so sorry and will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

jp. isn't it way too early to test. i don't think it's over for you yet. =) my beta is before yours and i never thought twice to test. i feel like if i test and it's negative that i will stop taking my pio shots which is causing me great pain in the you know where. i am soooo black and blue. . .am I the only one here that bruises easily? i know everyone is different i am so thrilled right now to be expecting twins until proven otherwise. i have been trying to keep track of everyones process and hope and wish everyone the best. hugs!

jp - Listen here woman - 10 days is tooooooo early. I tested the evening of day 10 and it was negative, not a faint sign of anything - completely negative. On the morning of day 11 I finally got my faint line - and I think I have high beta numbers at 14dpo 200 and 16dpo 487.

Krista, I am so sorry I was really hoping your fighter embie would make it through. What part of PA are you in? I am in Jersey. I'm thinking about changing clinics too but I'm going to see what my dr has to say at the consult.

Thanks for the response ladies, I know what you mean, I had my Day 3 transfer exactly one week ago it just seems that by now I should have at least somewhat of a faint line, it just seems that those who are pregnant get a faint line at least when they test around this time. I know its lame to be testing so late but i've been waiting to see for the past 12 months and figured that this could be the time.

jp, no, no, no, I researched it and charted and graphed all the success stories - trust me here - day 11 is pivotal - wait at least until tomorrow evening before you start to get bummed out at all - and even day 11 is early. Certainly don't waste this evening worrying about it...OKAY!!!

ETA - I know how you feel sweetie, I was so frustrated and full of angst those last few days - I tossed around at night wondering how I was going to break the news to hubby that the cycle didn't work. Try to relax the next day or two - watch some movies, step away from the boards, go for a walk with your hubby (ice cream helps btw).

hugs,
b.
