Hi Everyone,
Hope you're all getting ready for a nice long weekend. I'm catching up on the boards because I was away on business for 2 days and fell soooo behind. AFM, I had my second beta today it was 537. The dr is happy and we go back 7/16 for sono so now waiting AGAIN... Amber & edsthawaii, good luck with the wait.  Kelb, Someone at my clinic got a 6 beta and carried to term. Stay positive!!  Honey, thanks. How was beta today? ashxl, So sorry for your BFN but praying for you.  ttc-lexie, sc, 8dpt can be too early for hpt to detect hcg. Hang in!  Baby4gerbee, I was wondering how you were doing! Congrats on the +hpt. Once you get a negative first and know the meds are out of your system, the +hpt is pretty accurate. It is so hard to be happy and believe this is real. Beleieve me when the dr office called with my results today, the nurse saiod "your pregnancy numbers are progressing nicely" and I'm thinking "who is she talking about?" because it's too good to be true but ENJOY IT GIRL!!!  Enjoy the time with your family which will hopefully help the wait go by faster!

You are a busy girl keeping up with everyone!!! I actually tested today, in the middle of the day, and got a faint positvie. I can't wait to do one in the morning. After so much disappointment, it almost doesn't seem possible for the test to have more than one line!! I hope I am not getting excited for no reason!!!

I try to keep up with everyone because these boards have helped me quite a bit and I'm inspired by the strong women on here. How exciting you got a faint positive! Keep believing until beta girl. I know how you feel because I still can't believe I'm pregnant!!!

Beta #2!!
Well it increased and actually tripled in 48 hrs... it is only at 58, but the nurse said even though it is low, it is doing what it needs to and they can't argue with that! So, we are cautiously excited and nervous about beta #3 on Monday. It seems like so far away, but we are really

Just be careful....my first morning test never ever came out as dark as my second morning test. I started going to the bathroom when I got up (around 6:30 or 7) and then I'd hold it in till about 11 and go again....but this time testing. It always came out darker. I've read that some women have better luck with HPT's if they use second morning urine or even evening....so if you don't get a darker one in the morning, try again at the same time you got the faint one today

I'm kind of irritated. I simply asked my husband to not tell ANYONE until after the first trimester. He told his brother...who is the MOUTH and now everyone will know. I feel like he's jinxed me.....anyone else feel like that?

Very faint postive on HPT
hey everyone... please help. I just succumbed and POASed... used the EPT test... and got a faint positive line. I tested with second morning pee (and didnt build up too much after first pee)...
My beta is July 7.... what do you think ?? I will check again tomorrow a.m. with first pee. Think i need to go out and buy a better test! Feeling a little happy... at least it was completely negative. Any advice... please please Anj

our transfer was the same day and I am getting faint BFP's on EPT's right now. They get a little darker each time. I am trusting them!!

Well, I've completely ruined my day LOL First I got all steamed at the pharmacy today since they couldn't get my refill right and charged me double what they were supposed to....it was CRAZY. But anyhow, since I'd ran out of test I figured I'd buy a 3 pack of FRER and take one...just to reassure myself.
Well, I had peed before I went to the pharmacy at 10:30 and then got home at 11:30 and while my mind was saying NO, DON'T DO IT....YOUR URINE IS TOO DILUTE. I did it anyway and got a faint line I'm so afraid that I'm repeating last year now....should the HPT be light this far after BETA if I have a lot of HCG in my urine? Or is an hour worth of urine not going to show up dark no matter how much HCG is in your blood? By my calculations (my RE doesn't do anymore than 2 BETA's) but anyway....if it was 254 on Monday, it should be around 1016 today.....ugghhh, I hate this waiting and the fact that I feel like my husband jinxed me along with all the stress that I've not been able to shake. Now I'm afraid to take another HPT...but of course I won't be able to stop myself LOLI can't believe I didn't wait 4 hours to POAS....I get what I deserve I guess.

I would tell. I always tell my close friends, especially when it goes bad.
You need people to support you and pray for you, happy and sad. Maybe sharing exciting news will be rleaxing and help you to focus on the positive exciting side of having a positive beta. Congratulations to you both and good luck !!

Thanks, Lexie! We have always shared too and this small group of 6 has been with us through the whole process starting w/ when I had surgery last July. I guess a part of me wants my mom to be the first to know, but I don't want to get her hopes and or jinx myself! I always thought when we starting ttc that I would be over the moon excited, but now I am just scared. I wish I could be like some of my friends who wake up six weeks pg and realize that AF skipped her this month, go to the dr. and already hear the heartbeat!!
