Thank you Hopeful!! I didn't know if I was 6 or 7.
I'm feeling ok... a little bloated, but that's it. I'm trying not to go crazy with the whole POAS thing. I didn't think I'd even POAS, but then I lost all control of myself and I've nearly run out of hpt!! I've only peed on 2 today, so that's been good self control On my second one, I was convinced that I could see a pinkish area, but no second pink line. DH assured me that I cannot wish my hpt to be positive. Tomorrow is day 7... I already have my stick lined up for for the morning.I think your cramping sounds like implantation cramps- isn't it exciting to think about!? Thanks again for your help ![]()

I understand the crazy POAS thing. I have actually got one lined up for tomorrow... even though I know it won't show anything because it is WAY too early, but it gives me something to do. DH thinks I am insane so he is planning an out of town trip for the two of us for a few days. I just can't stop thinking about the possibility of being pregnant. I have waited 5 years for this and it has been a rough road. I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

I agree with Sparkly! I've had a heaviness and warmth emanating from my uterus area. And mild cramps...also little twinges and pinches. I hope they are nestling in and getting comfie!!! But in reality I have had these feelings before so it's hard to get too excited. But still. I am excited by the possibility. One more week till I know for sure! Eeeek!

I have four more days before my beta...I'm going to hold out and not POAS. I think it will mad second guessing it. The next minor milestone for me is being liberated from bed rest. I get to join the living and I'm sure a big pile of work. Which I hope will help me pass the time.
Here to a great week for everyone and !

Bed rest?
I can't help but wonder why my doc doesn't recommend bed rest. The day of my ET, I was told to go home and take it easy, but after that to "live my life as usual". Even right after the ET I was told to dress and leave, there was no resting period. I'm taking it easier than I normally would, not riding the mower, or lifting heavy things or such, but I'm still worried that maybe I didn't give my embies the best start. I wish there was universal instructions for IVF, it seems like all docs vary so much. I am also getting quite constipated, does anyone know of any stool softeners that are safe to take? Stay positive everyone ![]() |

Very faint line on HPT a day before beta test
Hi all:
I just did a HPT and I got a faint line, so I guess I'm at least chemically pregnant. I have the beta test tomorrow, so I'm being cautious about assuming anything, though. I tried to call DH and tell him but he's been in a meeting for the last 3 or 4 hours (he's works for a Japanese corporation, and they work their employees very, very hard in this country!), so it's strange not being able to talk to him about this yet. He might not get home until very late tonight, too. I'll check in and let everyone know what they say at the clinic tomorrow. I'm scared but hope my levels look good! Hope all are doing well, Tracy PS. Does anyone know if a faint line indicates that my beta might not be very high?

Thanks Tshoshino, it's relieving to know that someone else has avoided bed rest and quite possibly got a Goodluck Can't wait to hear about you beta tomorrow.P.S. It was my understanding that a faint line meant a possibly lower beta, it you tested tomorrow it might be darker. But after reading some threads on this forum that might not be the case. What HPT did you use? |

Well, I'm in Japan, so I'm not sure if the one I used is made in Japan or in the US. It had very tiny instructions in English and the rest was Japanese (which I can't read). But it was called Clear Blue--although it's probably not the same as the Clear Blue brand they sell in the US. Anyway, thanks for your well wishes, and I'm sending you tons of well wishes back! Tracy
