Indie, I'm praying for you!

AFM had 1st u/s today. Saw sack and yolk sack. I wanted to see more but dr said we are right on track. We have another next week and hope to see fetal pole and heartbeat.

Congrats!!! When do they say that you will see a heartbeat?? I was wondering how many weeks it would have to be

Hazel: congrats !! thats great... one more step closer...

baby4gerbee: typically the heartbeat is seen in the 6th week. Thats what I was told during my first IVF. we saw it at 6w exactly... tiny little flicker. oh, feeling a little sad for my little lost bean.

Beta was negative ladies.....blessings to you all though, you all were a great group to go through this with and I don't know how on earth I'll ever get over feeling that desire for another child but sadly with no real reason for our secondary infertility, we are calling it quits. Praying for you all

Well, I pray that all of you ladies have a happy healthy pregnancy and don't ever experience another IVF loss Everyone should be blessed with a baby if that is their desire, and I'm thankful for what God has blessed me with....so I pray he lets all of you have uneventful pregnancies , beautiful babies and wonderful full lives.

I am so sorry. Men just dont get it sometimes. Ive been a wreck the last two days. we had our transfer, and then my sister decided to launch all out warfare against me, though nasty emails. I was totally blindsided and hurt by it. Between all her meanness and the progesterone, I was up till three crying. DH doesnt really know what to say. Its hard.

I have secondary too, like you.
So sorry this cycle didnt work for you.

Oh Indie, I'm so, so sorry it didn't work out... Take time to regroup - who knows maybe you will knock one out of the park on your own...seems to happen lots.

Thanks Ladies again for the support. You know..just when you think you can breathe for a few minutes and stop crying the nurse from RE's office calls and says things like "are you sure you don't want to come in on Monday for another test, just to be sure"....ugghhh. I mean I'd love to be all positive and everything, but 2 negative HPT's and a negative BETA.....I really really think I have to move on.

I would love to believe in miracles though, and have seen women get negative BETAs and be pregnant because of lab mix ups.....but again, I have other signs too so I have to just let go.

My poor husband doesn't show any emotion really well. Seriously, he went back to work the day we were married....he's just not an emotionally wrapped up kind of guy LOL I do love him dearly and I know he feels bad that I'm so sad right now....but he just doesn't know what to say or do, and so he just goes on about normal life.

I'm sooooooo sick too, so that doesn't help. I'd love to just go to bed, ya know. I just wish my nurse didn't put that idea in to my head.....then you start getting paranoid that you'll be doing something horrific by not taking that PEO shot tonight.

Oh, my husband did also blurt out that once we get the credit card paid off in December that I could go have my tubes untied.....ugghhhh, again he just doesn't know what to say and I guess this just popped in his mind LOL Sadly I'm so scared by that procedure that I just don't see that happening, that's the reason we chose IVF in the first (and second) place.

Well, ordered Pizza for the kids....think I'm going to curl up on the couch and rent a funny movie.

What a tough time this is. I wish you peace and comfort and best wishes in anything you and DH decide to do. Hope the pizza and funny movie helped a little.

I'm sorry that your DH is handling this differently than you. I know how hard it is when you feel disappointment and want someone to commiserate with and they can't. At least you have you children to love you and need you. That may help you to heal. I'm sure a child's love can help that. At least, I hope it does for you. I'm really sorry for you.

Decided to take the day off from work... since waiting for these results are always so stressful. My DH is home today as well... that'll make it easier.

Hoping the 3rd beta results are in line with the expected trend and that the HCG levels are growing well. No further symptoms -- still bloated, very fatigued (slept for hours each weekend afternoon), minor cramping, and sore boobs. Again, all possibly from the meds.

3 more hours or so....

beta#3= 1482 ... so tripling almost from 4 days ago -- but NOT doubling every two days. Should I be concerned ? I know websites say that HCG levels shd double every 48-72 hours... which puts me in the range.

help!!
