I will have to try again tomorrow. I am too tired now! Good luck with your betas tomorrow, Jessica and Tracy!

Jessica, Tracy and Stephanie-positive pg vibes tomorrow
, here is to !Sparkly, congrats on ! I really admire those of you who are brave enough to POAS. I am too chicken to do it. I like being PUPO.SweetPrincessLauren, I wish I did not get sore bum from the PIO, but my bum is black and blue. Be happy no pain, I envy you! Today is my first day back with the living. Work was fine, but I could not wait to get home and take a nap. I got home at 5:30, fell asleep at 6 and woke up at 8 because my stomach was growling for food. New symptom (I hope) heart burn. I hope these are positive signs and not my mind playing tricks on me. babydust: wishes for everyone!

So far, so good!
Hi all:
I went to the clinic this morning, and my pregnancy test came back positive, and I think the beta was around 167. They said they need to check next week to make sure the pregnancy is not ectopic--they said there's no way to know this early. They also said that they were not going to measure my hormones/beta levels again unless they can't find anything in my uterus next week when they check to make sure the pregnancy isn't ectopic, which I guess is really different from how they do it in the U.S. I need to continuing taking the pills and the shots until week 12, and I can't work out at all until at least then, (can't even fast-walk, apparently), can't do too much housework (--they must not have any idea how unlikely it is for me ever to do housework...) or for some reason take baths for more than a few minutes, but otherwise, so far, so good. I think I'll wait until next week to really get hopeful, but I do feel really thankful that it's gone well so far. Anyway, I'm sending out good wishes to everyone! Tracy

I'm in New Jersey @ Princeton IVF so not likely. Are you taking the PIO in Ethyl Oleate? That's what I have and my dr says it's smoother than the mineral oil, so it doesn't hurt as much and doesn't need to be heated.???

YAY!! Congrats Tracy on your
how wonderful!!!I'm praying next week goes well and your little bean is growing exactly where it belongs. Not doing a second beta is a little different, but at least you won't be stressing over numbers for a week. Hoping there are more to come for all of us!P.S. does anyone know if it is ok to use a heating pad for back pain? |

I think as long as its on your back its fine, I've read reccomendations everywhere that you can put the heating pad on your bum for PIO's so I think the back is fine, just not your abdomen.
