2WW'ers PUPO! June

Hi ladies!

I just had my ET today and was hoping to get a smaller group together here that are going through the same ups and downs. I hope you join me!

This is my 2nd IVF and hopefully my last! We did a day 3 transfer this time, last time it was day 5. I am feeling good and hopeful. I had pretty much canceled this cycle in my mind, so having 2 perfect little embies in me now feels great! I just hope they stick around.

I find it so hard to balance my hopefulness with practicality... it's been such a long road and I still can't drive straight! hehe.

Where is everyone else at in the cycle? Where are you from? How are you feeling?

-Bridget
(ps: one of my embies looked like a little daisy! it was so cute)

Hey Bridget!

Great idea to start a 2ww group I have nine days to go: beta is on June 12th. So far, I've been doing really well. Currently, I don't want to get my beta because I don't want a "no"- I don't want it to be over for this cycle. I'm sure I'll be ready once the 2ww is over, but as of now, I'm happy thinking that maybe there's a baby.

We transfer 3 good looking embies, but I'm worried that my egg quality isn't good because of my stim cycle: it went way too quickly and I coasted for 2 days.

I had to go to Babies-R-Us today for a baby shower gift. I resisted the urge to pick out a car seat

I've also been beyond tired the past two days, which is how I felt when I was pregnant in the fall (ectopic). It was my only symptom and it was immediate. I've also had some cramping. Ugh, who knows!!!!

for for all of us waiting. We've been through much; it's almost here!!

Hi Amy & Jessica!

I resisted POAS through the entire last IVF, I'm not sure about this one. I was thinking about it today to see if the hcg is out of my system...but it's a slippery slope!

I'm a teacher and just finishing up odds and ends for the year right now, so if I start POAS now...next week when I have nothing to do it might become a dangerous obsession!

I kinda like extending the hopeful period for a little while also...It's so devastating when you get a BFN. The longer I stay away from that the better.

Jessica you will know so soon!

I am for you both!! And sending your way!!

Did either of you do acupuncture after your transfer? I did and I'm not sure what it accomplished, but I am relaxed.

Those sound like they could be symptoms! I remember being very tired with my m/c in October and very sore and growing boobs. That will be so amazing if you are !!

BePositive: Congrats on your ET!! How are you feeling? This is my first IVF too; how you dealing with all of these first time emotions?

Bridget: Let me know if you cave in and poas. I know what you mean about the slippery slope... technically, the trigger shot be out of my system. We currently have 5 hpts in the cabinet and debating whether or not I should start them on Friday or just pee on all 5 of them if we get a positive beta. It'll be a celebratory bathroom break

forgot about acupuncture... yes, I did a session post ET on Monday. My acupuncturist said that it helps with blood flow to the uterus. I had another one today and have my last one on Friday. These last two appointments are to help the heart to develop (according to my acupuncturist). I don't know if any of this true, but it sounds good to me!!

for all of us!!

Hi fellow 2ww'ers! I am 5dp3dt. We transferred 5 embies (so many due to my age and poor outcomes on prior cycles) on Sunday. Not sure yet if I will poas, but plan to do my best to wait for beta day. On prior cycles I did poas a day or two before beta. The BFP's were so exciting to see and the BFN's were....well you know...devastating. I'm afraid to see that BFN again, and I have to admit, PUPO is better that a BFN!

Danigrl and bepositive!

Dani-- I hope this is your lucky IVF cycle!! You've been through a lot, girl! I am for you!!

Bepositive-- I just went through my first IVF in March/April and it was so scary. I can totally relate. Here's hoping one time is a charm for you!

Amy-- I will let you know if I cave and POAS! I'll probably be posting about it constantly...hehe.

It is so nice to have a smaller group to bond with!! The June board was moving so fast it started to feel more like homework reading, it was just so extensive.

Sending you all and lots of !!

-Bridget
