Mouse,

I got my period and never got a BFP. If I make it to the 18th and do not get my period I will be one happy lady.

I was the worst patient here as I POAS every day for almost a week. It was so discouraging. I hope no on drives themselves crazy like I did. I am wishing you so much luck.

You have cramping right?

Samantha, I am soooo sorry.
I also go to RSC. Who is your Dr? my Dr is out of Umass so I only go there for the ER and ET. There is a forum on here abour RSC not sure if you have visited it but there is a lot of unhappy people and i am skeptical about this cycle beacause of it. Please keep us posted on what you decide to do. Have you used RSC for all of your IVF cycle?

Hi Guys,

Well, I was worried that my one and only preggo symptom might disappear once I actually knew what it was. But guess what? It didn't. I woke up at 4am freezing because my t-shirt was drenched (and my pillow and sheeting under me was damp too). I had to get up and change into something dry and then of course, trying to get back to sleep is just impossible thanks to the dexemethesone. I am totally not complaining. I am still in shock that I have any symptoms at all. Anyway, just thought I'd share since there is nothing else to do at 4:15am!

Hope ya'all are sleeping well!

You have cramping right?

nms-I POAS 4 times this week. I'm just as bad. I didn't cramp as much yesterday as earlier this week. Wednesday night was the worst. Bad cramps and spotting. Now, the spotting is over and the cramps are not nearly as bad. I just got back from my beta, so hopefully it will confirm that I am pregnant.

Hi Ladies

Maggie - Holy Cow Love to hear it. You might have more than 1 in there

2lines- How are you doing?

Justone - Thanks so much for the info. I lilke that they have such high # for our age group. I am 38. I was able to get an appt on the 18th with another Dr. Ryley? Have you delt with him for ER or ET? Any way I have to talk to DH and see if he even wants to go . He would not even talk about it yesterday he was so upset. When do you plan on starting again. I want to take a little break. I have been going at this for a little over a year now and I feel burnt out.

3rdtime- How is your wait going? I hope everything goes PERFECTLY tomorrow

Alfowler- Whats the word?

JP- I saw that thread and it scared me so I never responded. My 2 ETs that I ended up PG the RE was from Harvard DR. O I think it was he is a very nice man. I think he is my good luck charm. If I could have him again I would think about going back. Over all I have been very happy with RSC I have DR. Huang and she is great. The funny thing is with all my ERS and ETS I have never had her. I feel like they have given me great attention tried with each cycle. I love my nurse Nicole. I use to talk to her more often but now I only get her once and a while. I have to say I did love speaking to the same person all the time. I feel like I have one more cycle in me and I feel as if I stay with RSC and it was - I would always wonder what if I tried someone else. So do you go in again today? Best of luck if you do

Samantha

WOW, again, miss a couple days and have so much to catch up on!

South, honey, I'm sooooo sorry *virtual hug* specially for you!!

Maggie - OMG - seeing a 2nd line so early- how many do you have brewing in there? hehehe

cagirl - as of yesterday, we STILL had 13 going strong - well, a couple stragglers at the end, but still going. We had that last time too, a couple that were a bit slower, only to catch up in the end. As for whats my secret!? I did use different meds this time - last time I used BCP's, SUprefact, Puregon and Repronex and this time, no BCP's, less Suprefact, Gonal F and Luveris!? BUT, since I hadnt used any of the new meds when they counted my follies before it all started - I'm attributing it to luck and the fact that after my failed cycle, I started taking Royal Jelly and All Greens - I've heard they're both good for eggs and egg quality etc - I thought, heck, why not try it! My 1st IVF I had 10 follies at the beginning, this time, I had 16... which turned into 18... which turned into 17 being retrieved. <-- And my RE had to trigger me sooner than he wanted to, as my progesterone levels were too high - which, by the way, only happens to about 5% of IVF patients (oh goodie, I fall into another sh!tty category hehehe) I guess having high progesterone levels at thie stage of the game makes a 3 day transfer very unlikely to work - but it has no effect on a day 5 transfer - soooooo glad we have a buttload of good embabies, to be able to make it to a 5 day again!

Someone asked about after ET and laying on your back as o[psed to laying on your left side - but no one answered... please, those of you with BFP's now or in the past, did you lay on your back, or left side? Last time, with the way our big couch is situated, I mosly layed on my back - but I am more than willing to rearrange the entire living room if it'll help ensure my BFP!! hehehe <-- Amazing what we'll do!!

JustOneMore - I wish you nothing but a high BETA number... go night sweats go!!

Mouse - hugely high BETA numbers to you too!! How exciting...

nms17 - No worries - most women have zero symptoms, only to get a BFP - just keep visualizing them implanting and stay positive!!

3rdtimesthecharm - YAY, congrats on all your eggs and fertilization report - those are fabulous numbers!!

And to anyone I missed, sorry - I wish you all nothing but good luck and long awaited BFP's as well....

Hi Bella, as ever, it's always great to hear from you. Your posts make me smile! I have never heard of laying on your side. After ER, I lay on my back in bed mostly propped on pillows. I did move around a little so I am sure I end up on my left side at some point. I have heard that those embies are in there nice and snug, like peas in a peanut butter sandwich. I am not convinced that bed rest has anything to do with success but it is a great excuse for me to be very, very lazy for a few days. I mean, most people don't ever do bed rest a few days after sex to help with implantation, so I imagine it really doesn't matter which is probably why not all RE even recommend it.

I am so glad that the progesterone issues won't cause any issues with a 5 day transfer. It sounds like you will have a very good selection of embies to choose from.

AFM, I did my blood draw at 8:30am so I don't think I will hear anything until around 3pm. To think I was thinking that I wasn't going to know. HA. Now I am on pins and needles!

i've never had a bfp, but i hear side laying is best.

woo hoo bella for day 5! i know your embies are strong so what day is your 5 day transfer? i've lost count of what day you retrieved. i'm skipping bcp this cycle so maybe it'll work well for me. guessing it's too late for me to start royal jelly, etc. i'm just gonna have some faith that this will be a better cycle

The Top 10 reasons why I think I'm pregnant

For your enjoyment, here are the top 10 reasons why I think I'm pregnant (or "in the family way" as my nurse so lovingly calls it). My old-fashioned grandmother would kick my butt if she ever heard me say the p word by the way :

1. "The girls" have never hurt me this much in my life. They won't stop aching. And I have taken PIO shots plenty of times before, and they never ached like this before.

2. I cannot sleep for the life of me. I am an insomniac. The only other time I have experienced such an extreme case of insomnia was the last time I was pregnant.

3. I have horrible heartburn. And I am one of those lucky girls who never ever gets heartburn. I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to take Tums and all of them were while I was pregnant last time.

4. I cannot stop peeing. Every 5 minutes, I have to go again. At first I thought it was the UTI, but I have been on antibiotics for days now, and this symptom keeps getting worse.

5. I feel stuffed up all the time. This is the exact same feeling I had last time right before I tested.

6. I have an excessive sense of smell. Every little scent bothers the hell out of me. I hd to roll down my window yesterday in my car because I couldn't stand my friend's perfume. The ironic thing is, I bought her said perfume and I own a bottle myself. It is one of my favorites.

7. Last night when my husband fixed himself a tuna and egg scramble (something he has done many times before and it never bothered me), the second he put the plate down on the table I gagged and couldn't make it to the bathroom. I hurled all over the hallway floor. Thank God for Pergot and a steam mop.

8. I have more moods than Crayola has colors. I go from sweet to ***** in like 5 seconds. My poor husband. I never ever raise my voice at him, especially aboit stupid things... except when I'm pregnant...

9. I leaned over to grab something out of the bathroom cabinet this morning and the room started spinning. I had to sit down on the floor to stop myself from passing out. The only other time this has ever happened to me was, yep, when I was pregnant.

10. If these other symptoms haven't convinced you yet, this might: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...DSC_0627_2.jpg

There's no denying #10. What a beautiful thing to wake up to, even better than coffee ;-).

Well...it's official!! I am !! I was so happy to finally hear the comfirmation. My beta is 120. Does that sound like a good number to you guys. I've never done this before, so I'm a little confused. I was reading online and it looks like they want you at at least 25. Divi, what was your first beta?
