Yeah its looking like an early Nov ER and ET for me which feels sooo far away. In the mean time it works out well beacouse we can have friends over at the house and I can have a drink if I want and we dont have to worry about doing the shots. How do they diagnose bad eggs just wondering, is it usually the FSH level is higher then expected or can it be normal and still have bad quality?

i think the "diagnosis" of bad eggs is just a guess! i don't think it's anything official. only this..."hey, we can't find anything else wrong with you so let's just say it's bad eggs"

cagirl: I agree completely...bad eggs is a should shrug. As far as your period goes, mine has always been worse following an IVF cycle...more cramps and bleeding. I don't know if it is just because your lining is thicker or what could cause it.

jp: I'm with you...right now the earliest baseline my clinic has available is 19 October...that date will probably be gone once they get the results of my pap so that I can pay and get my calendar. I might not even see my ER until mid November. As far as bad eggs go, I think it is like the diagnosis of tendonitis...we know something is wrong, but we can't put our finger on it so it must be the eggs. All of my bloodwork and testing has been within normal limits.

My RE had said that unlike with IUIs with IVF with each cycle your chance of success goes up

yep...i think your chances start to level off, but i don't think your chances go DOWN with ivf. that's hopeful for all of us, at least.

Cagirl - I sure hope that is true.

This will be IVF number 5 since my son's birth. That is how they told me to look at it. So I will give it a try. I asked both RE when I should stop. 1 RE said 6 the other 8. I will start my estrogen pills a week from Saturday . I have been on a positive kick I hope it will last!!!


So I will be we all find success this time.

Hi Ladies! We still don't have wireless hooked up at the house and for some reason the internet is not working but I keep checking in from my phone. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! AFM: still no AF here she was due yesterday or today I totally forgot to ask my RE if my laparoscopy would delay AF. Does anyone know???

hey girls - do you remember if you ovulate late after a failed ivf? i've never had a failed cycle and then tried naturally so i don't know. i usually ovulate early...like CD11 or CD12 and it's CD13 and no positive on OPKs.

Cagirl - After my last failed cycle I did an IUI and I ovulated so much later than I ususlly do. So for me that was the case. I hope you get your + soon .

Sam-def no sign of and i am so annoyed!!! dying to start BCP's which make me gain weight!!!!! def not since i was due to ovulate around surgery time so i think surgery delayed ovulation...I did some research online and I guess its common for her to be late after surgery. Just stinks not knowing when she will arrive.

AFM: so we decided that i would stick with my RE and not change labs, i am so scared that i am making the wrong decision after having 2 failed cycles at my lab...I feel like my RE already knows me well enough and he is doing whatever he can to make my cycle work but I hate that he doesnt work at the lab.
My RE also said that I could due an IUI but insurance may require I do 3 IUI's before IVF so he suggested stick to IV...i know success of IUI's is much lower then IVF but a part of me wonders if I am making the wrong decision and what if an IUI will work. At this point its just so hard to immagine IVF working which is why my mind is all over the place.
I start acupuncute again tomorrow after taking a few weeks off, i will be going every Tues after work and not getting home until 9pm!!!
How has everyone else been doing???

Well finally arrived today and i start BCP's on Friday...I am so excited!!!
We are all moved in! DH and I have been building the house for almost 3 yrs, its on family land so we were in no rush and in the mean time we were living with my parents. The move was gradual so it worked out really well.
Sam, in your past cycles when you have gone for your surpression check/ultrasound if all looks good did you start stims the same day? Both cycles I had to wait like 4-5 days because its what RSC tells my nurse so I told her this time I dont want to wait that long, what if I get oversurpressed by staying on the lupron??? i am sure its not the case, i mean the nurse agreed with me she said she will work on having them let me start the same day or the following day.
So where about is everyone in their cycles, its been really quiet on here dying to here what everyone has been up.

no positive opk i had a little ewcm yesterday but that's really it. i think i'm just not o'ing this cycle
