DQ Alpha Match
I just found out that DH and I are have a DQ Alpha Match (I am now calling him "cousin"- lol). Just looking for any insight, knowledge, or experience with this from all of you wonderful women.
Anyone dealt with this before? What was the outcome? Are you dealing with this now? How are you treating it? How's it going for you? Thanks ladies- and happy early fourth!

Mass amts of supplements BCPs: 7/22-9/16- Ganirelix, Follistim, Menapur... First ER: 9/28- no eggs... Lupron trigger didn't work! Went through 1 ovary- retrigger & try again Second ER: 9/30- 17 mature eggs! Fert Report- ICSIed 5 and all 5 took!!! Day 3 Transfer- Transferred 3... 2=8 cell grade 1 and 1 morula Beta- 10/13:  362nd Beta- 10/15: 86 3rd Beta- 10/19: 288  4th Beta- 10/21: 610  1st Sono- 10/28: One bean with a new HB-too soon for bpm 2nd Sono- 11/4: 7 wes, looking great! 3rd Sono- 11/11: 8 wks, 153 bpm!! 4th Sono- 11/18: 9wks, 166 bpm- looking perfect!

Hi Amy!
I am not dealing with this, but have a friend that is. She used Intralipids during her cycle and is now pregnant with triplets. She is continuiing to use the Intralipids now that she is pregnant (not sure for exactly how long but I think sometimes they use the Intralipids for up to the 24th week of pregnancy). They used to use IVIG, but that is expensive and contains blood products. The intralipids do not contain blood products and are much less expensive. I know there is a lot of info on this on SIRM's website. Good luck with your next cycle!! Courtney

Me,32- unexplained DH,33 2 cats 1 crazy puppyTTC for 4 years 4 rounds of Clomid- all BFN 4 rounds of injectables with IUI- all BFN IVF#1 (11/07)- 6 follies, 5 eggs, 2 fertilized and transferred on day 3 (8 cell and 6 cell) , but biochemicalStarted weekly acupuncture in Feb. 08 IVF# 2, clinical study (8/08)- 20 follies, 7 eggs, 2 fertilized normally with ICSI and transferred on day 3 (two 5 cell one which had an embryo biopsy) beta 8/31- New RE- Dr. Sher @SIRM Immunologic testing- all normal IVF #3-Staggered IVF in February- no embies made it to day 5 for freezing and CGH IVF #4 (or 3 1/2)- Agonist/ Antagonist Protocol ER on 6/3- 15 eggs, 7 mature and fertilized normally  ET- 6/8- transferred 2 blasts, one of which was hatching beta#1 on 6/16  u/s #1 (6/29)- one sac with fetal pole! u/s #2 (7/14)- measuring 8w3d, HB-170!!

Hi,
Found this website for protocols to use for IVF with different immunologic problems. This might help! :-) IVF Protocols | Reproductive Immunology Associates I got my first day of cycle yesterday and my DH has to rushed me to ER due to extreme pain on my lower left side of my stomach. ER doctor really not sure what is was. He said it might be endometriosis... he said my body has just gone through a lot, might be hormones etc.. Take care! God Bless!

Thanks, Ladies! This week has been crazy for DH and I, and learning this just added a new element. I'm at SIRM and really happy with how advanced they are in their approach. Just one more thing to learn/obsess about- lol!
