Hi girls! You have quite a group already! I am not sure yet but I might be doing a FET in Oct. It depends on if my body gets over this m/c in time. (I am ready to go though!) I have a follow up consult tomorrow with my RE so I will know more then. I just wanted to drop in and say hi to Nicole (MySillyOldBear). Not sure if you remember me from the Rocketeers thread but I wanted to wish you good luck. You have had such a long journey and I am sure you are ready to get the show on the road. Good things come to those that wait, right?! Well we have all waited long enough so the good things should be headed our way! Again, good luck and I may be back to join you. Everyone - this is our time for our BFP!!

AFM: I have my trial transfer next Friday and some of my medicine and general IVF training. After that we wait - again Until AF comes and then we jump into the game. I have a pretty tilted uterus so I hope the trial transfer goes well. I guess with my HSG the Dr. had a heck of time getting the cathader where he wanted it - he said I was doing very well because though it was uncomfortable it wasn't that bad. He said I had a 'good tolerance' - which I found funny because I have always thought I have a low pain threshold. But I guess when there is a bigger goal in mind you just 'grin and bear it' Looking forward to getting to know all of you a little better and support one another!!

What is the calendar doing? I checked the settings and it says anyone can add events.... left click on the date? Not sure what you are seeing...

I have been told I have a tilted uterus too. I hope all goes well as a result. I go this afternoon for my consult and am SO excited.

I am so glad to see this thread growing! to everyone! I am going to try to keep up on the calendar... keep it updated for everyone. But I will need your help! I can't always get on everyday. I saw some mention of a calendar.... is there one going?

Also, if you are comfortable I would love to know everyone's name! It makes it more personal I think. We are sharing such an important journey!

Stephanie- Good to see you again! I am so sorry about your mc. I saw when you got your BFP and was very excited for you! My heart aches for you.

wow ladies i am really on the fence here...someone wanna pull me over lol...i went for my cd 17 u/s on 150 clomid and just like the prev cycle nada...she suggested either 200mg clomid but said low chance or injectible cycle with iui or ivf...lol i was leanin on the iui with injectibles...but i think i am at a high risk to overstimulate and figure if that's the case i might as well....well overstimulate(lol)and do ivf..the clinic i go to has a 20,000 shared risk program where you either have a live birth or you get ur money back....and i don't think that is bad considering what the meds are gonna cost me just for one injectible cycle...but if i do ivf they may want to take out my l/s tube as i have a hydrosalpinx and i guess they suggest that for ivf patients...hmmm dilemma...

My name is Sumer. I went for my consult today and should be able to be accepted into their grant program. Have to get them my tax forms next week but its pretty much set. YAY! Anything to help in the costs even if it is a little bit.

I have to go in for 3 day blood work when I get AF arounf Aug 25ish and on day 5 have SHG. After that I will know more dates.... looks like I will be stimming the end of September with an ER and ET in early October.

Was wondering if I could join your gang??? I'm crossing back from a FET thread due to 4 beautiful embryos not making the thaw process. I'm planning on starting a fresh IVF in October. I'm due to start BCP's in Sept. My favorite time of the year is also Oct., DH and I got married 8 years ago on 10/27. This will be my last journey with infertility treatment, (2nd IVF) so I'm keeping for all of us.

to everyone! I am so excited to share this journey with you all. My name is Jenny. I recently went in for my mock ET and blood work (they did a routine physical). My RE said my liver felt enlarged, so they did some extra blood work. They didn't seem too alarmed though since when they asked me if I drank, I told them rarely if ever. So I am thinking it is probably nothing, as was he, but he just wanted to be on the safe side.

But once the bloodwork is back, my RE wants to do a Sonohysterogram. Then all that is left is to do a SA on my DH. They did one once already technically, but since he was diagnosed with retrograde ejaculation resulting from a spinal surgery he had, they are going to do a trial run with some sodium bicarbonate tablets to decrease the hostile environment in the urine in hopes of getting some normal little guys through a routine urine sample. If that doesn't work, onto using PESA. My DH is obviously hoping the first option works, he doesn't want any needles in that general vacinity.

But hopefully we will be on our way to a in October with everyone else!

Hi Everyone.
Glad to see this thread, I was hoping someone would start one. I think I am going to be stimming in Sept and have ER/ET in October. I had a m/c at 8 weeks in June, so I have been going through a bunch of testing. I'm getting a hysteroscopy next week to check out a fibroid, and if all is well I should be ok'd to cycle. Just waiting for all the test results from the RE next week.

Summer - I tried the calendar... I can see it but can't post. Could be user error! I hope everyone doesn't mind, but until I figure it out I am going to keep updating the list, (as best I can anyway!) Maybe you can tell me what I am missing? Keep us posted on the grant program! I hope it works out for you!

AFM - I had my 3rd HSG yesterday, and it went well! The DR said everything looked perfect.... nothing in the way and size and shape the way it should be. Finally some good news! So I go for my trial transfer and DH tests on Thursday! Let's hope this all goes well too. Then I order my meds. Wow... I can hardly believe we are moving forward!!

Nicole - I don't get it..... it says under options for the calendar that anyone can view/edit the calendar ... All I did to add a calendar event is left click on the number (ex 14) on the month you want to add it to. I sent a message to the girl that created the september calendar to see if maybe she can give us some advise.... maybe they ran into this issue too?

As far as the grant....I dropped off my 1040 federal forms from last year to the fertility center yesterday... they said the lady that normally handles/"approves" them is on vacation this week but there might be someone else that can do it so I should know on that in a week or two Im guessing.

Until then.... is due on or around monday so I will go in for my testing then.... YAY!

Hi Nicole - Question for you. You are going in for the trial transfer on Thursday - are you then waiting for your AF to arrive and then start BCP and then the meds? Or are you starting right after yoru appointment on Thursday? I ask because I am going in for my trial transfer on Friday and then we 'wait' until AF arrives and then we start BCPs and then meds.

I have seen where a lot of women start BCP before there AF and then the meds after the AF - all so confusing.

I am also still trying to put my head around everything that we are going to have to pay out. Yikes it hurts!! Where is everyone ordering their meds from? I think I am going to order thru IVFmeds.com - they are in Europe but MUCH less expensive.

I have been on Lupron for 3 months, so I haven't had AF the whole time. (Yay!) Because of that, I don't have to wait for AF to show. I will start BCP on the 31st, which is 3 weeks after my last shot. I think it depends on the RE, and each of us.

As for meds... my clinic choose the pharmacy. I don't know who they use... the pharmacy is supposed to call me. But I do know my meds will be $4,000. I know what you mean about cost.... we got our bill when we got our schedule. Seeing it on paper made my heart skip beats! But it will be worth it. Because we are ALL going to get our BFP! Can't put a price on that!

Summer - I am going to try the calendar again. It would be so much easier than typing a list!

May I join... I will probably be starting my bc pills when I get my Sept menses so I will probably fall right into the October group. I told my RE I didn't wanna do another IUI cycle for nothing when they are telling me that my best option is IVF w/ICSI (even the urologist said this). So what's the point I thought. I figure if it happens between now & then au naturale then it was meant to be. It's just so fustrating . My acupuncturist also said I should try & get at least 6-8 sessions in so that my body will be oven ready lol. I am new to the entire IVF process so I am looking forward to asking some really dumb questions if you guys don't kick me outta the forum first. I want to wish everyone much success with their upcoming cycles & I everyone will get their this coming cycle!!!
