When we went through IVF last time, our cycle was cancelled and we have left over Gonal. (We are in a DE cycle and just did transfer last week) I paid 795 a piece for this and it is shameful to throw it out. Any thoughts on what I can do ladies? Is it illegal to sell, donate etc. Post or email me. I feel horrible and want someone on a limited budget to get it.

Unfortunately, it is illegal to sell or donate the meds online. The best thing to do is to donate them back to your RE's office so another couple who is limited on funds can use them.

I donated my meds back to my clinic. I only had to by my Menopure and the rest was donated TO me. So when I didn't need the Menopure, I gave it to the clinic and they passed it on to another woman. It felt AWESOME to do.

I donated mine back to my clinic too. I was prescribed menopur and bravelle, but my Dr dropped my bravelle part way through and had me only use menopur. They ended up giving me donated vials of menopur towards the end of my cycle so I wouldn't have to buy more, and then I ended up donating all my leftovers back to them. They actually told me that leftover meds from a cycle resulting in a pregnancy are considered lucky meds!

my RE has a list that you can get put on and you can sell them to another patient. you have to go through the RE to make sure box isn't open, etc. i actually had an open box on one of my meds and a patient still bought them because i discounted all of them. good luck!
