pos beta after m/c on own cycle
Hey all,
I know there is a lot of sad news on here too, but there is also a lot of miralces too. I have a new miracle to share- My RE said we would never get pregnant on our own bc my dh sperm issues. I just had m/c last month after my 3rd ivf. I just found out fri that I am pregnant per hpt and beta fri was 147. I know I am not out of the woods yet, but at lest I am pregnant now and will  for best. God is good!!! all the time. Jana

Me- 36 (all tests normal) DH- 37 (low everything) 2004- conceived naturally with in 1 month of TTC, have a darling 5 y/o son TTC- for 3 yrs Jan 2008- first appt with RE, rec. IVF only started dh on HGC shots to increase sperm count Oct 08-#1 IVF 5 eggs retrieved, only 3 good, no fert w/ ICSI Nov 08-CCT- normal We denied DNA Frag test for DH Feb 09-#2 IVF 4 eggs, 2 fert  Transfered 1 embryo on day 3, other one 50% frag .   #3 IVF- Aug 09 8-28-04- 4 eggs retrieved, only one fert 8-31-09- ET one 6 cell embryo without frag 7dp3dt- neg HPT 11dp3dt- very very faint pos hpt 12dp3dt- very faint pos, but line darker 9-14-09 1st Beta- 36.7  9-17-09- 2nd Beta- 54 9-21-09- 3rd Beta -68, up tp 129 then 0 in a week, not doubling enough  11-2- appt w new RE 10-23-09 on HPT natural cycle. OH MY, What a surprise. 10-23-09 beta 147, prog 38 10-27-beta 1206  11-12-u/s. saw heartbeat

Congrats! It's so amazing how after rounds and rounds of IVF, sometimes all it takes is a little old fashioned love! I have seen this so many times recently that I just wonder if some of our bodies reject IVF and it's better just to let our bodies do their own thing. I honestly think if sometimes we give ourselves long enough and are patient enough, it will work on our own. But I'm not good at waiting!

I have heard a lot of stories too similar to mine where women end up getting preg wo any meds after ivfs. Not sure why? if all the meds help, or your body is shouting-- enough-enough- I will cooperate with you. ha I got my 2nd beta today, It was 1206, drawn yesterday. No more labs for me needed. I go for early ultrasound Nov 12. Despite the m/s already, the best part of today was calling the new RE i was to see next week and cancelling. Good luck to all, Jana
