Hello Everyone,
My wife and I are currently in our first round of IVF and yesterday was her trial transfer and bloodwork to check her levels. Currently she is only on Lupron, but adds Menopur and Follistim this coming Friday. Everything went great with the trial transfer but her bloodwork showed her projesterone levels as too high (around 10 I think she said). They are having her come in Friday for more bloodwork to check her levels again and if they don't lower to around (2 I believe) they are going to cancel our first round of IVF.

Has any one come across this problem or can offer any words of wisdom/advice?

I know it's wierd that I'm doing the posting (husband) but my wife is very stressed, angry, and embarrased so I try to help out as much as I can. Thanks.

Hi. I am sorry that I can't help as I was never in your situation. I hope someone else has and can give you words of wisdom.

But, please tell your wife that there are so many wonderful people on this board. We are all going through a lot of emotional days, feeling stressed out and angry. People on this board are fantastic. They listen, care and cheer you on. Both of you are more than welcome to come and share your story.

I hope she can continue with her IVF (she is on the same schedule as me) and we would be thrilled to have her on the November thread! I hope for the best and looking forward to seeing her post!!!
