Hi. Glad to see your ER went well! Congrats on the number of eggs! I hope they all fertilize and devide correctly.
With my RE's practice, they do not put more than 2 if you are younger than 35 (especially younger than 30). Obviously, there are exceptions, but mostly, they do not. They only put 1-2 back. Drink lots of gatorade. It is supposed to help after ER. Good luck!! ![]()

Hello there,
I hope you're starting to feel a bit better. It should get better in the next 2-3 days. Congrats on the 9 eggs to work with. That is a great number! My 1st RE gave us the option to put in 2 or 3 3 day embryos, but also gave us the talk about the possibility of having triplets and selective reduction. But selective reduction has a risk b/c it can lead to m/c's on the remaining embryos too. And I was afraid of being pregnancy with triplets and risks associated with it as well. We decided to put in two b/c it was our 1st time going through IVF and we didn't know how my body would respond. My current RE for our 3rd IVF gave us the option of only putting back 1 or 2 5 day blasts primarily b/c of my age (under 34), after seeing how I responded to stimulation and based on the quality of the blasts. I'm in beta limbo right now, but I'm thinking if somehow things don't work out, my husband and I plan to possibly request transferring 3 blasts via FET. We still don't know if he'd agree. I hope you get a great fertilization report and good luck!
