Tabitha - thanks for sharing your story...I need all the positive energy I can get!

I also have severe endo and just went through my first fresh IVF cycle (unsuccesful). We are getting ready to do a natural FET with our 2 frozen embryos.

Eileen - remember me from the Oct IVF thread? I'm so sorry to read about your latest beta, but it's not over. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Hoping to hear more positive stories...

Lynn

Thanks maplewood. is supposed to arrive today, I guess her flight is delayed, lol. I did a HPT, which came up negative. So either she gets here or I will retest tomorrow or Saturday. Oh and yes it was a very dreaded 2ww, especially the past few days.

Hi Lynn! Of course, I remember you! I did not post further on that thread because I figured I would only bring it down.

I go back today for another beta. I have to update my last beta from Wed. It dropped to 196. Things are'nt going my way.

I was close, but just did not work.

I am praying you have great success with your FET!!!
Stick little bean!!

Great story, Tabitha! Thanks. What was your protocol? Was your FSH high, too? Congrats on your little one! I love this story.....

Eileen - I did the Lupron suppression protocol for my second IVF cycle. We retrieved 17 eggs, only 4 fertilized, we transferred 2 embryos, got pregnant with one and had none to freeze. I was sure that this cycle would not work since the numbers seemed so much lower than my first IVF.

For my first IVF we did the antagonist protocol. I believe we retrieved 20 eggs, 17 fertilized, 6 developed and we transferred 2, did not get pregnant and had none to freeze. I think I was pretty close to developing OHSS, I was in sooo much pain and started bleeding between ER and ET.

My FSH levels have been pretty low. I had to have my tubes removed between my first and second IVF because I had endo in my tubes that was causing some random bleeding.

I'm sorry that your beta is dropping. That's really hard after everything we go through to get pregnant.

Hello Tabitha,

Unfortunantly, got here Friday night. It is a BFN for me, I am taking Nov off and will do IUI # 2 late Dec. If it does work I will then move to IVF at the beginning of the year.

I am 31 and was diagnosed with endo at the age of 21. I am past stage 6 of endo and was told I needed to have a hysterectomy and my chances of getting pregnant were non existent. I had one tube removed that was blocked from the endo, the other is blocked as well however they are not looking to remove it as it has not caused me any problems.

Developed acites three years ago due to endo where free flowing bloody fluid was found in my pelvis and stomach. Fluid was drained, went in for laparoscopy exploratory surgery to determine the damage.

Three years later, this past Aug. started my first round IVF. Found that I had PCOS like ovaries as well and the free flowing bloody fluid returned. Was sent to an Oncologist to determine if I had ovarian cancer, test results were negative THANK GOD.

Round 1 was successful with 1 embryo on a 6 day blast transfer. However I lost my peanut at 7wks 5 days due to blighted ovum. Trying round 2 Nov. 13th.

Pregnancy according to the doctors usually makes endo better. I can say that the stims suppressed a lot of my endo symptoms such as (pain in pelvis or cramping, painful intercourse ect...) however once stims stopped it all came back again.

Sorry for the novel and I hope this wasn't too graphic.

Looking forward to round 2 and wishing you all the best!
