Dosage change questions??
I had an ultrasound today- it is day 7 of stims. They changed all my doses around just wanted to see if anyone thought it was normal?
I have been on 225 follistim, and 10 to 20 low dose hcg (did bcp's instead of lupron) Only have one ovary, but all follicles he measured were between 15-17. (I think there are 7 or 8 of them). So they are having me add in ganirelix today, and up my Follistim to 300, and low dose hcg staying at 20. Tomorrow they split my follistim to 150 in the am and 150 in the pm?? Is this normal for this portion of the schedule? Tentative retrieval is Wednesday. Thanks in advance!! And good luck to all waiting for results!!

THEY COVER INFERTILITY (Aetna , $10000 lifetime)!!!  9/04/09- First appt.  10/2/09- SA- Results show ICSI required 10/14- Hystroscope- Normal 10/19- Ultrasound- No Cysts- B/W Shows suppressed 10/24- Start Stims 225 Follistim, 10 Low dose HCG 10/27- b/w and Ultrasound- contine same dosage 10/29 b/w and Ultrasound- increased HCG to 20 10/31- b/w and ultrasound- Add Ganirlex, 300 follistim, 20 hcg 11/1- 150 follistim in the Am 150 in the PM, Ganirelix, and 20 hcg 11/2- b/w and ultrasound - 150 follistim in the AM- possible trigger tonight 11/4 - ER Got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized 11/10- ET 2 blasts, one that was hatching out 10/18- BETA!!!

My RE did the same thing but he lowered mine because he didnt want to overstim me. He lowered me from 300 Follistim to 175 and from 2 vials of Menopur down to 1 half way through my stims. Sounds like your RE wants to give you an extra boost before retrieval. Good Luck
