They found out that I was getting close to OHSS when I was taking the stims. It was about 4 days after starting to take them and they saw it with my E2 levels that it was going up way too fast. I still think that if they would have checked me every day instead of every other day that it wouldn't have been so bad and they could have lowered my meds sooner. When they first noticed it was going high they cut my dosage in half and then the next day it was still soaring so they cut me completely off them. They call it "coasting". They almost cancelled my cycle but the coasting helped get it under control. That is why they also did the assisted hatching for me too. The OHSS totally sucked. I had like 25 follies on each side and I could hardly bend over for like 3 weeks. I hope you do not have anything close to that happen to you. Some girls end up in the hospital with it when it gets really bad. I was only allowed to drink 48 oz of fluid a day and it had to be gatorade.
