2ww - vaginal discharge

Good morning,

Sorry TMI - has anyone else experienced discharge during their 2ww? Is it normal? I feel fine, then all of a sudden I get this warm, think liquid/jelly type sensation down there... weird? It seems to be clear in color.

Thanks, sorry again if tmi

Are you taking any kind of estrogen or progesterone?

I took estrace and progesterone-in-oil injections following ER.

I think it's fairly common to have some discharge. I wore panty liners most the time.

ETA: Also, I think I remember the RE saying when transferring the embabies that I will have some type of liquid and not to freak out because it's not the embryos, it's the fluid in which they were transferred in.

Hey Skittles -

I had something similar during my 2ww. It usually only happened when I got out of bed in the morning and stood up, but it was a totally clear fluid. The first time it happened, it made me feel like I peed my pants, b/c it was warm and soaked through. IDK if it was as thick as yours, but it was there. I was on Prometrium inserts, and it was totally different than the discharge from the suppositories. What was it? No clue. It stopped when I was like 5 or 6 wks pg. Our bodies are wonderful and mysterious, and make for some interesting conversation! lol

for a for you!

Increase in estrogen could cause clear vaginal discharge (mucus).

lisa_kev - I am taking estrace 2xday and vag progesterone. Thanks for sharing what your RE said, because I was actually thinking 'the embryo's' were leaking out or something crazy. But losing the extra fluid used in the transfer kinda makes sense. BTW -I'm sorry to hear of your recent loss. It's just not fair!

Airman'sBaby - That peeing sensation is kinda like what I have (but all day). You are right, our bodies are very mysterious. Just when we think we have things figured out! Congrats on being

missthuyn - I'm definately going to chalk this up to taking the estrace. It makes sense. That, and maybe some of the liquid they used in the transfer. I was just worried because..well...do we ever have reason NOT to worry? The joys of IF/IVF! I know I said this on the other thread to you already but on your BFP!!

I have the same sensation and discharge from the suppositories. I know that has to be the reason because I'm no longer on any of the other stuff. Good luck!

I had this really bad in early pg, thought I had peed my pants too. I had OHSS, so estrogen was super high, but I didn't use suppositories. My understanding was that it is normal for early pregnancy as long as it is clear. I am 17 weeks today, and not had any complications (bleeding etc) so I would take it as a good sign
