Hello ladies. I hope someone can give me some encouragement. arrived on oct 12 and it was normal. I went on vacation oct 24 and began spotting on the 26. I found it strange cause this never happened to me but I brushed it off and didnt think anything of it. I got home on oct 31 and I was still spotting so I decided to take a test and it was positive so I started to freak out cause i didnt have a clue and I immediately thought I must have miscarried cause I was spotting.. I went to see my re and he did an u/s and b/w and didnt see anything in my uterus so he told me that I must have miscarried when and he said sorry. So that night the re calls and my beta is 230! I was in shock. They told me to come back 2 days later and I did and my beta was 365. They still couldnt see anything in my uterus but the re that was covering for my doctor that day said its possibly still too early. I just want to know has this happen to any one here and if my beta numbers are good? And he also brought up ectopic but I dont have any symptoms for an ectopic. This has been a complete shock to us cause we were suppose to go in for IVF in the beggining of oct but it was cancelled due to poor response. This was all natural and I just hope it works out. I have had 3 failed IVFs, I was about to see a new RE last week for a last ivf try. My beta finally went down to zero Oct 5, I must have ovulated the next week and conceived. I thought I had a period 3 weeks ago - 3-4 days of light spotting but never really got heavy. I just blamed it on recent m/c a my cycle getting back to normal. it was a week early too. then the next week I took a hpt bc I was about to start some new meds not safe in preg. Much to my surprise- I was pregnant on my own. Guess the spotting was implantation bleeding, never had it with my first preg and my recent m/c. I am now 6 weeks preg.

I was a very poor responder on my 3 ivf cycles too.
Sounds like you are getting your miracle too. Congrats.

I'm that everything works out for you and you don't have to worry about IVF after all.

This theory is based on an average 28 day cycle. AF arrived on the 12th, so theoretically, you ovulated somewhere around the 26th. Once an egg is fertilized, it's about 7-10 days from the time it starts travelling down the fallopian tube until implantation occurs. Spotting can occur during ovulation and implantation, and every woman's body reacts differently to these processes. So if you are pregnant, according to your LMP on 10/12, today (11/5) you would be only 3 weeks, 3 days pregnant. Way too early to see anything with u/s. Usually, you can start to see a small sac (just a little black dot) on the u/s at 5 weeks (maybe even the 2nd half of the 4th week, depending on where the embryo implanted, etc).

Did you get to the point of triggering for your IVF cycle, or was it cancelled before you got close to the ER stage? If you didn't take any form of hCG, it sounds likely that you could be pg!!

Amber I did trigger but it was on sept 30 so it would be out my system by the time I tested. Thanks so much for the info. I will keep you posted. I have another appointment tomorrow to see if my numbers are still going up.
