Hello... I wanted to start this thread for any of us that are doing IVF in February. I just had a cancelled IVF cycle that transferred me to IUI this month. Beta this morning and says . So on to the next journey of IVF. My doctor started me on BCP's tonight and I go see him on the 4th to get the game plan. I will be on BCP for 6 weeks, sound weird to any of you? I was on them last time too for a really long time. I was cancelled due to low response to my stims. So we shall see what happens.
I am hoping for some buddies to go through this with. I'm not gonna lie though, I am gonna miss my December buddies ( I will most defiantely lurk, lol). These boards make this a little easier to get through what we have to go through! And seeing the always give me hope.

Hi,
I'm Maribeth and I'm from Michigan. Looks like I'm in for February IVF. We just met with our RE after a failed FET and it decided to do another round of IVF rather than another FET. I have mixed feelings about doing it again, but overall I'm feeling positive about it.
Doesn't look like there are very many of us yet but I'm sure people will start trickling in.
Here's to 2010 being our year

Maribeth~ I do think we will get some more ladies soon. My last IVF cycle was cancelled and switched to an IUI due to low response to the stims. So we are gonna try again. I love these boards because you dont ever have to explain your feelings, everyone knows already what you are going through! Has the doctor started supression yet?

I'm in for a February transfer. This is My 1st experience. So far I don't feel like I've been given much info from the clinic. I've been reading a lot on my own. I received notification from my insurance company about the approved meds, so I've deduced that I'll be on an antagonist protocol. I have my class January 6th and My cycle probably won't come until the last week of January. So I'm GUESSING I'll be transferring around the second week of February.

From what I gather I will be on ganirelex, menopur and follistim. No BCPs.

Dorey I never have made it to transfer so we will be doing this together for the first time. I am assuming I will be on the same meds as last time just maybe more of them. So I will be on the same as you. These boards are great for information as well.

I think there is a 90% chance or greater I will be joining you. BFN's continue and really should register positive now, symptoms have disappeared, and I am spotting. I am just preparing myself for the inevitable I guess.

Anyways, regardless of what happens for me, I wish you the best and hope your next cycle is much more successful. You deserve some good news!

I ordered my meds today and I am bracing myself for how much it will all come out once it's all added up. I will find out tomorrow. I also start taking baby aspirin today as well.

I look forward to taking this journey with the rest of you ladies, but I am very nervous at the same.

Let's just hope we all get our this cycle, so we don't have to go through this again.

I haven't started supression yet. My RE doesn't do BC pills. I'll start Lupron probably mid January. It all depends on how stubborn AF wants to be but I"m guessing ER will be mid to late February.
I agree, I love these boards because people can actually relate. I can read other people's posts and think "that's exactly what it's like or exactly how I feel". It's good to have the validation because it's hard to find it otherwise.
Sure hope you get a much better response this time.

Welcome!!! It's unfortunate that we all have to be here but it's nice that we can share this journey together. I find these forums to be extremely helpful (I still keep in touch with my July IVF girls) and love the support. Glad to be a part of another one and looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello...I just finished a FET with one embryo transferred and received a BFN. I am waiting to here from my RE to see how long I have to wait to do another fresh cycle. I believe I will be with you ladies in February...I will let you know what he says.
