June/July 2011 IVF
He everyone! I thought I'd start a June/July thread for all of us who have started but won't be doing BCP or stems until the beginning of June through July.

Hello!
Do you mind if I join? I am starting BCPs today will most likely be starting stims around June 19th.
What kind of BCPs will you gals be taking? I was prescribed MonoNessa.

Hey
Have any of you had a sonohystogram? I have one on Friday and just wondered what to expect. I've heard it's not as bad as the HSG xray.

Hi everyone!
Me-36 2 eptopic pregnancies-both tubes removed DH-30 Great Married 5 years- Hoping I still had part of one left TTC-5 Years 13 year old daughter-Previous relationship 3 Fur Babies Start 1st IVF-June/July I will not start my BCP's until about June 8th of my next expected cycle. I have never wanted my cycle to come so badly before! And I don't know which BCP's I will be taking yet. Do you know how long you are suppose to take the BCP's? I did have my sonohystogram and trial transfer already and I was so scared and nervous that I made my daughter go with me and miss school, but I it was so easy and did not hurt at all. It's just like a pap-smear. And it's kinda cool to get to see the inside of your uterus where your baby will be living for a while So don't worry it's not bad at all. You might have a little spotting and cramping after though. I did for a few days. It was more like twinges. I heard the HSG can hurt a lot only if your tubes are blocked.Have a great night! Carma

July thread
Hi ladies!
Just wanted to let you know that there is a July IVF thread going already for a lot of people starting the process in June with ER and ET in July. I have no idea how to link it here, but the title of the thread is July 2011 IVF. Just in case you're interested! Good luck to everyone!!

Me: 29 - no issues DH: 29 - azoospermia - hormone levels, etc. normal 2 fur babies: Rufus (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Lola (kitty) 2/11 - DH 2 SAs come back ZERO sperm  3/11 - DH biopsy - *almost* normal amount of sperm found!!  sperm frozen - Obstructive Azoo from hernia surgeries as a baby3/11 meet with RE to discuss options - IVF/ICSI it is! July 2011 IVF #1 5/15/11 start BCP 6/19/11 start Lupron 6/28/11 start stims 7/6/11 - cycle canceled - low response, only 5 follies growing September 2011 IVF #1.2 nevermind! didn't get period in time October 2011 IVF #1.2 Microdose lupron protocol Long story short, the two embryos put back both stuck and one divided, so we're pregnant with TRIPLETS!

Hi Ladies!
I start stims for IVF #3 on June 16th. I typically stim for a long time... slow and steady since I tend to overstimulate. I expect my ER to be the end of June, beginning of July and ET "hopefully" 5 days later!

For a girl I have always liked the name Katelyn. I also like Brylee, Grace, & Chloe. For a boy I have always liked Christian & Joseph. Joseph was my Dad's middle name and it is also now my husbands! I too would like to start a list. That is what we did with my daughter. But at the end her Dad ended up naming her. Which ones do you like? Carma

I wanted to know what you all are doing about finances? We are wanting to use the attain program. Does anyone know anything about them and do you know if you have to have good credit to qualify? Hey Ladies
Mid - I am taking Kariva - I don't know what the difference in each of the types are and just going with the flow now. As for the saline sono, the majority do not have a problem at all, they just use a cathater (sp?) and map out your uterus to choose the optimal placement for the embabies. I got to be one of the VERY few who had an issue with this procedure - they couldn't get the cathater through my cervix (and this was after 3 IUIs) So my RE was like "I never have this problem" So there is the small chance that it wont go as planned, but it was nothing to truely worry about. CS - Hey girl! So I am taking 21 days of BCPs this time around, last time I only took it for 17days and my RE said I could take it as few as 12 days. So it really depends on your RE. As for finances, dh has excellent insurance and covers 100%, so we just have to do co-pays. We have also talked about names, but I'm trying not to get to attached to any. Skigirl - Hey there cycle buddy, I start stims around the 18th, so we will be very close, as I will ER at the end of June and ET "hopefully" 5 days later. AFM: Started my bcps yesterday! YAY! and we have a WTF appt. next Thursday to discusss what happened last cycle - had a chem. preg. and see what we will do differently (which from my calendar doesn't look like anything, which worries me). This month I am just trying to focus on losing about 5 to 10 pounds (what I gained from last round of stims) so I don't keep adding on to it. Have a great day ladies!

Hi Team- I wonder for how long I will have to take the BCP. I am thinking about 17 days. I wish that we had full coverage!! I know it will work out either way but we are a little nervous about the whole thing still. I think this will be like one big roller coaster!! But it's worth every second for sure!! And I know what you mean about not wanting to pick names or anything. I think it might be a little to early for us too. At least to get too serious about it. I have a few I like and have always liked but I don't want to go as far as picking one name yet. Have a great night everyone!! Carma

Hi!
Are you taking a prenatal pill? Or are you just taking a multivitamin until you get pregnant? My Dr. told me as long as I am taking the 400mg of Folic acid that I am fine. But I still think I should be taking a prenatal pill instead. What do you take/think? Carma
