Thanks for your support girls! I haven't ruled out trying another round, but it wouldn't be until Sept/Oct (planning life around school, yet again). DH sounds like he's not interested in another round because of the $. If we could just get (and yes, this probably sounds horrible) his mom to give him some early inheritance (he's an only child, so he gets everything anyway), maybe he'd be okay with it. We'll see. Adoption isn't out, but as selfish as a non-IF person would think this sounds, I don't want someone else's baby right now---I want my own. I want to experience the joys and excitement of pregnancy, and the post-delivery excitement of holding our baby! I've dreamed of what our children would look like (blond haired, probably curly, blue eyed, chubby little babies) since probably the first time I walked into his parents' house and saw a picture of him when he was little....sigh....life bites!!


Yes, my first beta was today... Still waiting on the results but I POAS this morning and it was neg so I am just waiting on the confirmation from the dr. I'm not quite sure why our betas are on such different days.. I am 10dpt today but with my egg quality being so bad maybe they just wanted to give me a little more time, even though it was a 5dt my embies were more like day 3 so maybe he was treating it as a 3dt... Who knows

I saw him through it all, I was the one with him when he was at his lowest low. Now that he is what he dreamt of being, I'm just someone with whom he doesn't have a good marriage.

Life sucks really.

I need a big break.

I'm so sorry I know my hubby and I have had our ups and downs throughout this whole process, sometimes guys just don't know when or how to bite their tongue. I hop you and your hubby are able to work that stuff out!!

Just got the call from my dr. Beta was negative, so now I guess on to step two.

Sorry, Christy. What is step two, do you know yet? I'm supposed to call and talk to the RE, but I think I'll probably email him instead. I don't really know what he'd have to say other than "it didn't work, so let's try again," which I still have to talk my husband into doing. If we do another IVF, which I think we should try one more time, it won't be until the fall.

I go in for my wtf appt on wed so we will find out then about what our next step would be.. I think we will prob do another cycle but we need to figure out how realistic that would be with such poor quality eggs.

Has your re told you what he would do different next go around?

Thanks or sharing! Are you feeling better now? I was downing water and Gatorade, funny how everyone has different opinions. I went in on Saturday to be evaluated. My ovaries were very enlarged with some fluid in my abdomen. Thankfully I was able to have ET on Sunday. I'm still feeling a bit bloated but definitely not as much as I was. I never want to experience that again! When will you do your fet? I esh you all the best!

Hey girls....just wanted to share the good news with you...

I had my first beta today...328!!!

Second beta scheduled for Thursday. For a big increase!

2/18/12 began oral dostinex & lupron trigger shot 9pm & 9am
2/20/12 ER, 14 eggs
2/22/12 embryo report: 11 grade 3, one grade 2
2/23/12 began PIO
2/25/12 ET transferred 2 blastocysts, freezing 8
3/2/12 POAS.... big faint positive!!
3/6/12 b/w done...HCG is 328
3/8/12 beta #2: 544
3/9/12 beta #3: 765
3/26/12 first u/s ... 6w6d TWINS!! Saw 2 hbs!
4/2/12 u/s #2 ... 7w6d 2 RE graduation
4/16/12 first OB appt 9w6d babies are moving!
5/10/12 heard the hbs for the 1st time (150+ bpm) downs u/s looked good
5/17/12 2nd OB appt
6/7/12 2nd high risk OB appt

Had my third beta...a strong 765! I'm so relieved! Next scheduled appointment is a 3/26 ultrasound!!
