Any Massachusetts or fellow Brigham girls in cycle?
We are currently in our 3rd cycle at Brigham & Women's and I was looking to see if there are any fellow "Mass-holes". Our first ICSI/IVF in 2004 was a bust, our second in January 2005 was a success, and we are back at it again
 in March 2012. Lupron slated to start March 9th then is game on.

Me~(33)Dh(34)married 13yrs, together 16 dx: 01 severe male factor~ 800k, 1%morph, 3 %motility -10/04 ICSI IVF fail/OSHH w/abd & lung fluid, + hosp admit -1/05 ICSI IVF success twin preg. 1 twin miscarriage 10wk  , bedrest & 1DD born 10/05 2012~March-April ICSI/IVF #3 ~4/4 baseline, E2 & prog ~4/4 START STIMS: gonal f 75ius ~4/5 lower lupron 5ius, repronex 1amp ~4/9 E2 1600, coasting- NO MEDS ~4/10 E2 2353, u/s 19 lg follies ~4/11 E2 3529, u/s 21 lg follies ~4/11 Trigg ~4/13 ER, Severe OHSS, bladder perforated during ER, hospital admit. 12(day1 uknwn quality)embryo's FET at a later date. FET 5/11/2012~4/24 CD1 YAYYYYY!4/25 E2 good, start estrace! 4/27 E2 215  5/4- Liberation Day for our family. We have opted to stop ttc. May peace be with you~

Hi mugsy, I'm also in mass but using dr. Skiadas /harvard vanguard/rsc in Lexington instead of brigham and women's. It's my first ivf though. I'm not scheduled to start bcp until the beginning of march.

----- Me: 37, hypothyroid DH: 42, mfi 1st IVF april 2012 Long Lupron Protocol Trigger! 4/24 ER: 4/26 17 retrieved, 16 mature, 11 fertilized! 5/1- Cycle cancelled due to ohss.  for embies to make it to freeze!5/2- 6 snow babies! FET#1 July 6/12 start estrace 6/30 start pio shots 7/6 transfer day! Transfered two expanding blasts. + hpt on 7/11, 7/12, 7/13 7/18 beta 474!  7/20 2nd beta: 1384!!!!! 1st ultrasound 7/30: one healthy little bean, meas. 6w 0d with heart rate of 113!! Due date! 3/24/13  Bleeding scare. Emergency u/s on 8/3: little bean hr 126! Also now a second bean? Super small sac only 1% chance of survival. Has hr of 120. 2nd u/s 8/13: BabyA looks fabulous! Hr 175, meas. 8w2d! Baby B Graduated to OB!  Make a pregnancy ticker

It's been such a weird winter! With my luck though we'll get a freak snow storm in April with 2+ feet of snow on the day of my er!

Hi ladies-
Fellow Masshole here...I've done three at RSC in Lexington and two at Boston IVF in Waltham...All BFN's...#5 was a chemical and we're still waiting for my beta to get to zero from our December cycle... Not sure when we will be able to cycle again, but #6 will likely be our last unless we get an exemption from insurance company... Good luck to all!

Another Masshole
I had to chime in as another fellow Masshole (thank you Latebloomer, you brought the only smile to my face in a few hours with that nickname). I did two fresh cycles and two frozen at BIVF, all BFN except for the chemical the second time, and just had a failed one at RSC in Lexington. We have nothing to freeze from that. We have been all self pay too, due to my tubal ligation, so unless someone can find something that would kick insurance in for us despite the TL, we are done. The weather this winter did make it great for appointments and not worrying about getting to ER and ET, I agree. Though I would have gladly dealt with snow to get a positive!

I'm also a MASS woman (well a transplant who has now lived her 5 winters
 ; although, this winter seems like cheating) We are meeting our new RE on March 8th, and I'm hoping to start bcp's with my next at the end of March, which would mean an April/May retrieval and transfer. Our new RE is in Springfield at Baystate. I used RSC before for IVF's 2 - 4 and FET. It is 3 hours from our house, so I am hoping that the new RE will be good, it's only 1 hour and 15 mins from home. We will see, and if she doesn't work out; than back to the greater Boston area for treatments. Jenn

I'm starting my first IVF cycle at RSC and using an Harvard Vanguard RE. I don't start Lupron until 3/7

Western Masshole
I had three failed cyles (2 fresh,1FET) last year at RSC Lexington. I met with Baystate in Springfield this AM. Will be doing a cycle in April/May though. Good luck too all the girls cycling now.

Hi Ladies, I am currently at Boston IVF and in the process of our 1st FET. I have a 2nd opinion appointment with Brigham & Women's soon but I am hoping not to need it
