I will be on gonal-f for a total of 10 Days. I am currently on day 6 and showing about 9 follies that are visible. I am aware that some may hide behind one another as well. As of today, I have 4 follies that are over 12 mm.

I wanted feed back on how many follicles you have/ had? Please list your success stories

Me: 36 DOR, Ovulation problems
Partner: 36 Good

08/2011 IVF#1 Loss @7wks
I did a Nutural IVF or some call a Mini-IVF with clomid 7 follies, 3 fertilized, (3) six cell implanted, resulting in 2 sack 1 stuck.

02/2012 IVF#2 40u of Luprolide on CD3
CD5 Start of Gonal-F 300u x/10 days

MiMomToBe, try not to worry. At day 6 you may not see a whole lot, but things will really start picking up. Do you have follies less than ten? They usually don't measure or mention those. Do you know your antral follicle count? For this cycle, I had just 5 measurable follies on d5, and before ER I had 26 that were 16 and above.

for the 5 measurable - did they see more antral follicles?

Yes, very many, but in my experience they just don't usually measure anything under 10.

I do have follies that are less than 10, around 5 I believe that they could see. I do believe some were hiding as well. What exactly is the antral count?

I feel really good about this cycle!

I go back to doc on Friday. I have a feeling I'm gonna get way more as time passes, plus trigger as well.
