Everyone,

I have noticed that we have had quite a few newbies to the board. I know when I first started here, it was all greek to me... and I would have a hard time following conversations. Maybe we can all add in here to make understanding our jive talk easier! LOL!!

LOL= Laughing Out Loud (couldn't resist)
DH= Dear Husband
14dpt3dt= 14 days post transfer, 3 day transfer
BFP= Big Fat Positive
BFN= Big Fat Negative
HPT= Home Pregnancy Test
BPT= Blood Pregnancy Test

Well, that is a start... I just know I didn't know all of them, but thought starting a thread to refernce would be worth it... hope you all think the same and can add some more to this list... or if any of you have one that is still irking you maybe someone here will have the answer.

There's also a tab at the top of the screen for members that says "Acronyms". It's a really long list, but they're all there.

The one at the top is geared more towards adoption...for our sister site.

We're working on splitting these two sites, so you guys can have your own 'list' - so if you want to work on a list that's used here most often, I'll start working on getting that done!

Actually, Brandy, that would be great. As a matter of fact, there was a post a while ago by einstein that has most of our acronyms in it. Probably about 3 months ago? And it's been reposted a few times since. Twice, even, by me. But some of the ones on this list are great, too.

I agree... it would definitely help with understanding, like I said before, it took me awhile to catch on...
