Have you had any bleeding?

Did they do an u/s or did they say you're still too early for them to see anything?

I am so sorry. I have been where you are and I know how devastating it is when they tell you it doesn't look good. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

No, I haven't had any bleeding yet and No they did not do U/S nor have they mentioned that they would. The next step is to have the level rechecked on Friday. What should I expect with a miscarriage? I mean, when you started bleeding was it just like a normal period.

I am not hopeful that it will work. I can tell that it is over. My boobs were huge, swollen, and so sore. They are not as huge or as sore anymore. I've also been cramping. It just stinks that my levels were so high at first and now this. With my levels being so high, I thought I was out of the clear and we told everyone. (We really didn't have a choice. Everyone knew when we were going in for the preg. test.)That's what makes this so much worse is that now we have to tell everyone that I am pregnant, but not for long. It just sucks! I have learned my lesson, though. If we do this again, we are not telling a soul.

Unhappy

Oh god I am so sorry, this just doesn't make sense, none of it does. I am so so so sorry to both of you for what you have had to go through, I think it is worse to go through what you went through then to just get a BFN like me. Again, I am truly sorry and my heartbreaks for you both.

Maybe things will be different on Friday. Lets pray that they will.

I learned that lesson too, I had to tell everyone that it didn't work and pity is just something that I HATE, so never ever again...

I wish I could give you strength, please let me know if you want to talk...take care of yourself...

I am so sorry Laura. I can only imagine how you feel. We are all praying for miracles to happen. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You are as well Christina. I know this is a huge letdown for the both of you. Wish I could say or do something to make it better for all of us.
Best wishes,
Kim

I am so very sorry. When I had my anembryonic pregnancy, my rates were going up just not at the correct rate. U/S confirmed not viable, and I miscarried a few days later. My heart just breaks for you...

Laura, you are still very early, as I was too, so a m/c would be just like a regular period but probably a little heavier and could last longer than normal.

I know it is very hard to wait for your next beta test tomorrow. You just want to hope for a miracle even though you know it's unlikely. That's how dh and I felt.

We are all here for you. You will be in my prayers.

Thanks everyone for the support! I will let you know how my levels look tomorrow. However, like I said before, I am not hopeful.

Dont be so hard on yourself. I know it sucks really bad, I miscarried 4 times and told myself each time I was not going to tell everyone, but we did. We were so excited each time and thought it would be the time. I think talking about it makes it a bit easier. Hang in there and think positive.

Laura,
Reading your post made me cry (although I'm sure the birth control pills don't help) I know just how you feel. I just had an ectopic this past March. I hadn't been pregnant for 10 years; been trying for 11 yrs. I thought that there was no way it could happen again; I mean that I could lose another one. I also had to keep going in to see if my count had dropped; it was very hard. I am so sorry you are going through this. I am on my 3rd day of BCP as I am getting ready for my first IVF cycle. Anyway, I hope you get to feeling better.

Well, I go back tomorrow to see if my hcg level is undetectable. Last friday it was down to 34. I started bleeding on Wed. As sad as it is, I can only hope it is down to "zero" so this stage of the game will be over and done with and we can move on.
