I hear you loud and clear!!!! It totally freaks me. I've never even been able to do those ugui (no clue on sp) boards - even as a kid.

I'm also petrified of the dark (surpirse)!

Nite now - so fun chatting!

Just want to add: tarot is NOT voodoo; not even close! I personally don't think it is freaky, but fun. I love doing free readings and have been doing them for years. No ghosts attached...

Although, I told one lady that she was having an affair and she was. And I very reluctantly told a guy I felt he had been sexually abused by a woman and come to find out, his mother had sexually abused him for years when he was a kid! I just read what the cards say...that is all I do.

And the lady that read for me last April told me that on my second try with my new clinic that I would get pg...and she was right! Coincidence?

Sorry to bump in on your thread Creole...I wish you luck in whatever you decide!

Blessings, Michelle

Hey Monica,

I just love your spirit. You will be preggo this time surely. I agree we all need a break after sometime and unless we tell ourselves, its not going to happen.
Good luck girl!

Monica,
I can completely understand your decision to get back to you if this cycle doesn't work. I've done it myself and it was honestly the best decision I ever made. IF can turn you into someone you aren't but you have to keep it in perspective and realize it's just something to come to terms with but you can still have the same old fabulous life. The break did DH and I a huge deal of good, I hope that this cycle works for you but if it doesn't I wish you the best of luck.

I know it's not voodoo but anything like it spooks me...which is why I say no. LOL! Don't make me pull out my dusty rosaries! LOL!

Monica - You have the best attitude towards this whole process. It is so importatnt to keep things in focus - you and Robby both seem to be able to do that. I consider myself lucky to be able to call you friend

I get what you're saying. Monica, I don't want to get too corny on you, but I hope you know how much you inspire all of us. You always put into words what we're all feeling- and you do it w/ such style. You've kept me laughing through all of this, and that wasn't an easy task I assure you. So, thanks. Good luck tomorrow, I truly want this for you as much as I want it for myself.

OH!! good luck, sweetie!! I'm pulling for you. Go ahead and plan that stuff. I waited til the last minute to go to the dentist and had to cancel my filling appt due to turning up preggo; and my roots are awful. skipping the highlights for a while.

Side note: I'm not as familiar with tarot; but I used to do oujia board as a teen with some friends. It said my friend's first marriage wouldn't work but her 2nd would. IT'S TRUE. She's very happy in her 2nd marriage. That's all I remember.
And the one tarot reading I had, she said we would move someplace we had been but didn't know real well. I was visiting New Orleans at the time. We ended up moving an hour from N.O. I think that counts.?

Monica,

I have thought alot about sending you a somewhat "bossy" e-mail as I know that you don't go for that anymore than I do.

But here goes - I'm going out on a limb. I know you will do whatever you want to do and you've probably already got a plan but if I could just have my two cents put in there I would say PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE rest after your ET - I mean like really rest. I know that you are a very active person and you don't like letting this whole IVF hoopla change who you are and what you do. You were my cycle buddy last cycle and I was really sad that you did not get a positive with me. I don't remember exactly, but I want to say that you went on a vacation soon after and were doing alot of walking (maybe in Idaho) - and that is when you started spotting - I know that all of our bodies are different and probably just meant to respond the way that they each will and I swear I'm not trying to be a know it all here - but my RE said 3 days bedrest ABSOLUTELY and 2 out of 3 of my embabies took (although one has since vacated the premises unfortunately) - My RE's office has a pretty high success rate I'm told - Bedrest was miserable but I thought darn it, I'm gonna give this one good shot and do it right - I followed the orders and laid up and was really wimpy and babied my body. It worked for some reason and I really want it to work for you. I know all REs say different things, so who knows?

I, like some of the other ladies, am also inspired by your attitude, love for life and caring way about others.

But PLEASE WON'T YOU JUST LIE BACK AND REST AFTER THE TRANSFER ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I hope you are not offended by my straightforwardness but I'm really just trying to share some knowledge of what seemed to work so maybe it will help you get that finally.

Thinking of you sooooo much,
xoxoxooxox

Hey Chica face!
I understand and applaud your discision! I know that it is the hardest one you will make in a while!
I cherish your friendship on here and you make me feel more like a woman every time I am on here!
I want you to know that you and Robbie deserve the very best and with all that you have been through I know you deserve the very best! You can always call on me for a shoulder to lean on! Both Sacha and I think the world of you! You were a great support when we decided to stop for a while after this try, you had all the right words! I may not have all the right words now but in my heart I am hurting for you and Robbie! Take the time to relax after the transfer, there may only be 4, but sweetheart it only takes one! But if for any reason it does not work then party like it is 1999 again for a while, travel with the girls, have fun, and get to know both yourself and Robbie again! You know we will all always be here for you in the road ahead! Smooches Chica! You are the best! and don't forget it!

you will be in my prayers, , I wish only the best and I definitely agree with you, and that is what me and DH are doing right now, I have been traveling cross country for 2 weeks now and we are loving it, IVF is not on my mind, I miss you all and that is why I sneaked out to check on all of you, But although I would give this up for a baby I admire your thoughts, but i will be parying for a successful ET, xoxoxo
