I am new member of this forum; I used silently visit the forum for sometimes. This is my story I will try that to be short. Trying for conceive for 2 years after marriage. Never on birth control pill. AF is regular 32 days cycle flow for 5 days. Never missed a cycles. Have hypothyroidism (TSH is 1.7) normal. After 6 month of trying went to gynecologist, she checked tubes, no blockage; FSH 4.24 IU/ml, 21 day progesterone (13ng/ml) BBT showed I am ovulating. . Went to RE she suggested I cannot be in clomid because I am ovulating. So plan for a IUI but I over stimulated with Gonal F (150iui) with lot of follicles. Again after one month I checked my ovary for cysts from Gonal F, it is fine. I am getting period after that also.

As my insurance is not paying anything, I thought of having IVF in India,where I talked to 4 doctors , two told me to take Metformin. I don’t have insulin resistance, my Day 3 LH: FSH ratio is 1.5: 1 and slightly elevated testosterone 84ng/dl. When I talked to other two doctors they told me they don’t think I need to take metformin. Only if my serum insulin is higher than 13 I have to take Metfomin. I am worried about my overstimulating ovaries,. I think if I am going with less dose of Gonal F it will help me conceive. I will appreciate if anybody who are in the same boat can give some idea. Hoping for
