Calling all crampers

So - I'm 4 days in to my 2ww and I'm still cramping. I called the doc today and they called back to say I need to increase the progesterone AGAIN. Now I am on 1 1/2 cc twice daily. She said "we can't have you cramping". Now I'm confused because the other nurse and literature I've read says some cramping is normal. I know some of you who have had successful BFP's had cramping during this time too. She said "We need your uterus relaxed....". I'm completely freaked out. Is anyone else out there cramping alot? If so, are they pushing the progesterone as much?

Me too

I had implantation cramps for a few days around six days after the E.T and now 10 days after E.T i still feel some slight cramping. I called my Dr. and he said that is normal due to implantation. But if they give you a recommendation then follow it, they are probably avoiding to run any risks.

My cramping started 2 days after the transfer and was mild- kinda felt like pre-AF mild cramps and then it stayed like that all along (still there) intermittently. Are yours constant or do they come and go? You can't really go wrong by upping to progest. it can only help if implantation took place. I am hoping that it is implantation cramping. My good friend who just did IVF and is now 13 1/2 weeks pg had such severe cramping the whole 2ww that she was hysterical b/c she just knew it failed again- she had 2 previous IVF failures, and she had BFP! She said her cramps were VERY strong. So I am optimisitc for you.

THANK YOU SLOBIN!!! That's what I needed to hear sister! I like stories like that.

My cramping is mild to moderate and it's intermittent, but way worse ini the middle of the night of all times! Here's why I'm really whining... I hate hate hate hate hate hate the pio shots. No matter how much I massage and heat my booty, I'm getting knots and pain. So now, with the new dosage, I have to stick myself TWICE per day. It's all worth it of course, but I reaaaaaaaaally wish there was another option here. I guess if I am not preggers, there will be ONE good thing about it and that's not having to do these **** injections. Thanks for cheering me up.

Why twice? Can't you do one 1.5 ml shot? That is what I take, and BTW, I am pregnant! (And have had cramps since the beginning!)

Oh, and I hate them, too. I also hate admitting that, cuz I would do ANYTHING now that I am pregnant, but they really are terrible! Imagine them continuing until the 12th week of pregnancy!!

I know it!! I can't even imagine doing this for 12 weeks, but I will do it!

I started on 1.5 once per day, then they increased to 2, now I'm on 3 and they said you cant do the 3 all at once.

Have you found anything special to relieve the tenderness and knots?

Heating pad worked for me. Would get home from work and use it for about 30 minutes. Helped me a lot.
