I Am Triggering Tomorrow--but My E2 Level Is Already 3000--anyone Else Had One This High???

Mine was 5800 the day before HCG trigger. RE didn't like it, but all turned out well.

He just planned on freezing embryos and forgoing ET if necessary b/c of OHSS symptoms. Not necessary... YEA!!!

9/29 Nightmare. US showed both heartbeats still in 140's though.
10/6 US #5: Two beautiful heartbeats, one subchorionic hematoma

I am not very sure, but I think they want it to be below 6000.

Hey Kat,
My last 2 ivf's my e2 before retrieval has been approx 2500. I did fine. Are you symptomatic of ohss?

Oct. 2007 uterine surgery to remove scar tissue
Dec. 2007 HSG and ultrasound show I'm ready to go. Surgery was a success.
Jan 2008 will attempt iui with donor sperm

3,000 sounds good. Mine got up to 7,000 plus due to so many follicles so my RE took me off of meds and coasted me and my cycle turned out well. I think you are in good shape. Good luck!

thanks guys!!!! i feel so much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no symptoms of ohss that i know of....i think they will run it again before they trigger me tomorrow!!! i cant tell you how much i appreciate the replies!!!!! you guys are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum Kat, I'm concerned that my numbers aren't going to get as high as yours and that scares me too. Heck, I'm on day 9 of stims and my E2 is still less than 800. But they seem to think things are going well, that I'm catching up nicely. We just have to leave it to the professionals!

Oh I'm sure! I try to base my information on what I've learned here and I've seen numbers all over the board and so I've tried to stay in those ranges. What is boils down to is that we are all different and our bodies react differently and at different times. I just have to leave it up to my IVF staff.
